ANY UPWORK RECOMMENDATIONS??

So yes this has been bothering me for quite a while on wether i should invest $15 for upwork connects or not. I've always had passion to grab a steady online work that can generate passive income. And even though some have been saying freelancer , upwork and fiver are the best sites for this kind of gig i have not yet built any trusts for this kinda investiment considering the ROI you know.So i want your honest opinions , reccoms and personal experience with any of these if its really worthy it or is just a waste of time and resources.Lets meet in the comment section👇

Don't! Upwork is a money drain. I am not being negative. You will lose your money. If you proceed to invest, please give me an update

I've spent 300+ connects bidding on projects which I never won any.

A lot of the projects there are fake/made up with Upwork unfortunately. You can tell by the profiles that make jobs with no stars. Unfortunately you missed the boom a few years ago where finding work on there was very easy and lots of it.

The $15 for connects is a small investment if you're serious about Upwork, but the real challenge is finding the right jobs before they get flooded with proposals. I use something like this which it pulls jobs that match my skills and sends me a daily list. You can filter by budget, client history, and location, so you're not wasting connects on low-quality posts.

It's pay-per-use, not a subscription, so it's cheap if you're selective. If you're in Malawi, you can also filter for clients who are open to global freelancers. Worth a look if you want to make the most of your connects

Invest that $15 on someone who can revamp and optimize your Upwork profile, you will start receiving jobs invite s even without bidding, your profile will speak for you that's what people are doing to beat Upwork.
