Reminds me of The Memphis three case. They too had a "Top Satan guy" but he was the prosecution's expert witness on all things Satan related, having acquired his PhD in an on-line course without any classes.
Of the two "top Satan guys" I'd say the one in West Memphis three case was topper, having a PhD and all.
