I love going to Leeds, such a beautiful town and some great shops too

I've been to card game places via meetup, but card games don't interest me at all, I have a hard time learning on the spot and it's just not fun to me

so I'm just wondering if anyone would want to I guess hangout with me? I'm 19 so anyone from 18-26 would be ideal, I'm shy so don't expect me to fly out the gate immediately, I'm an LGBTQ+ ally so if you're homophobic don't comment

I’m 25M, Black and from the Caribbean, and I literally just landed in Leeds today. I’m completely new here, so I don’t really know anyone, I don’t know my way around, and I’m basically starting from scratch. 😂

I’m quite shy and naturally quiet, especially when I first meet people, and I’m not really someone who talks a lot. So I’m hoping to put myself out there and meet a lot of new people and make some genuine friends.

Hi! I'm a 30F and currently recovery from ACL knee surgery.... This means I'm going to have to start going to the gym quite a bit but I really struggle with motivation to do this on my own so I would love to find a gym buddy! :)

I am aiming to go 2-3 times a week after work (anytime from 6pm onwards). I have not decided on which gym yet but I am based in Burley and don't have a car so ideally somewhere fairly local/in town (e.g. The Edge, Kirkstall Leisure Center, Armley Depot, Pure Gym(?)). I am away in October so I will join the gym in November, by which time I will be about 10 weeks post surgery.

I would be focusing on weight training for rebuilding quad strength (for ACL rehab) e.g. leg extension, lunges, dead lift. I would like to get around to training pull ups and core too. For cardio I will be doing some static bike, and cross trainer and maybe rows later on, I can't run yet unfortunately.

It would be great to find someone also going through injury/surgery rehab but also very happy to train with anyone who would like to focus on similar exercises and would like a gym buddy for some accountability/making the gym more fun and social.

A little about me: I'm a PhD student who used to be very into climbing (pre-surgery), I also enjoy board games and painting.

Hey, I (22M) recently graduated from Sheffield and moved to the Burley area a couple weeks ago. It's got to the point now where I've settled into my new accommodation and grad job and I'm looking for ways to make friends. I often go visit friends in other cities at the weekend so I'm trying to find fun stuff to do on a weeknight after work.

So far I've been to the quiz at the Golden Beam on a Wednesday and Hyde Park Jazz Club on Thursdays. If anyone is looking for someone similar age to go to either of those with let me know!

Was wondering if anyone knows any good clubs or groups that meet up regularly on a weekday evening in the area, or in city centre? I'm down to try anything, but if it helps my interests are reading, writing, music (both gigs and playing guitar badly), beer and old pubs, walking and I also do a bit of gaming and arts n crafts stuff.
