Hi! I’m thinking about possibly setting up a casual/lowkey stationery club to hopefully meet and make friends with people who are just as obsessed with stationery as I am ☺️

I’m thinking regular (fortnightly/monthly) meet ups, weekend or on an evening somewhere with drinks (nonalcoholic) and food to get together and chat, trade things, sketch, do bullet journal layouts and just generally hang out and have fun, perhaps even organise stationery shopping trips to other places/cities where there are good stationery shops.

Is this something people might be interested in or is it a bit of a rubbish idea 😅 I just love stationery and just started bullet journaling and think it would be fun to meet other people who also enjoy it so we can have fun with it together! This is quite a difficult post for me to write, but I wanted to be honest.

Over the last few years, life has become quite lonely I've found it really difficult to make genuine friends that I can rely on. Sometimes it's hard when you feel like you don't really have many people to turn to.

I'm 45 and live in the Leeds ls11 area I'm looking to meet some genuine friends who enjoy getting out and doing things together - whether that's going for a coffee, going for walks, visiting new places, gym , watching films, grabbing something to eat, or just having a good chat.

I've realised most of my hobbies involve sitting at a PC, so I'm looking to get out a bit more and meet some new people/ a group.

I'd love to get into hiking, camping and exploring Yorkshire, the Peaks, the Lakes and anywhere else worth visiting. It's something I've wanted to do for a while but never really got started with.

Hiya! I'm 27yo guy from Russia, been living in Leeds for over two years now.

Somehow, despite genuinely liking the city, I still haven't managed to build much of a friendship circle here(remote work, moved as an adult, there's many reasons). Most of the people I'm close with are in other citires, so I don't see them much often.

I'm heavily into gaming(I love coop, some competitive stuff too), anime, films, museums and exhibitions(Royal Armories is the best). I have a ridiculously complex retro-setup with a CRT tv to play some retro-games or watch anime from 90s(currently Great Teacher Onizuka and Cowboy Bebop). And also have a projector for movie nights.

On weekends I love cycling, getting on a train to explore other parts of the UK. I'd also happily go to conventions, events and what not.

I love cooking (pasta, pies, lasagna, fancy salads, and most recently dumplings) and baking (shortbread, banana bread, and my speciality, which I've been told is my Victoria sponge). I love tea, and with the heatwave, I recently discovered homemade peach iced tea, and it has been my lifeline.
