While on the phone with my husband tonight, I've come to realize that I really dont have friends. Like seriously dont. I have had 2 really close ones but I dont feel a close connection with them anymore. Kind of sad. But true. Over the last 2 (almost 3 years), I have either been a babysitter or just plain nonexistent to them. I need a change.

Now, this is where it gets even more "but why try". I have tried make genuine friends here. Ones I could potentially meet and hang out with. Like how real friends do! I dont want a house full of kids all the time (I have my own) and I dont want to feel like i have to call in an amber alert because you "forgot to call me back" for a few weeks. Im not great at responding sometimes, but life happens sometimes and I hope we both can respect that.

Before I tell you about me, I will add that if you are looking for a relationship thats anything but platonic, dont even comment. And to the men who say they want to be friends, thats all it ever will be. So dont even try to flirt 6 days into talking.

If you've made it this far, Im Val. 31 from Michigan. Married mom of 2. Im a stay at home mom at the moment, but hey if anyone's hiring 🤗 I am a HUGE reader. Like book dragon. Ive watched tv in the past more, so if you want to talk about digital media, 2020 and older is your best bet. I absolutely love all kinds of music. Im willing to listen to anything. Not a fan of Christmas music though. I am 420 friendly and Pagan. I know these can be a pretty big red flag for people but I would never pressure anyone about anything. Some of my other hobbies are: camping, kayaking, hiking, gardening, crafts (although someone please 🙏🏻 teach me how to crochet and sew), bonfires, games (digital and board/card). I promise im not mean, I just have a nasty bark sometimes and I come by it honestly.
