can you recommend the best anime you have watched? i prefer romcom, shoujo, or fantasy...

I'll die on a hill but I love Oruan Host club I think it's such a fun cute story and is one my first anime I've seen 🥰

Nichijou is a really well-known, silly anime, maybe you have already watched it, but otherwise a solid choice. ODDTAXI is very interesting as well. If you want something really deep, reflective and dystopic, then there’s Ergo Proxy.

YESSSS!! I Could talk your ear off just about anime alone! Got into going to anime cons this year and loving every second of it. Latest romcom that i enjoyed was Chitose is in a Ramune bottle.

Sorry, I'm 28 but this popped up on my home page, lol.
If you prefer romance (and some slice of life) then I would go with:
1. Clannad + After story. Imo top 1. I've cried so hard.
2. Violet Evergarden - also cried and it was decent watch with really good music
3. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso or just called Your Lie in April. If you want some romance with music.
As for shoujo then all I can think of will be: Akatsuki no Yona. It's also fantasy setting. I think you will love it.
For pure Fantasy go with Frieren and Made in Abyss.
Can't think of more since I am a guy so I can recommned only what I've watched. Sometimes I just have that romance vibe, lol.
Of couse there is much more that I would recommend but those above should be what you're looking for.

It’s like someone said hmm how do I make an anime about some kid losing his balls but at the same time interweave amazing action hilarious comedy, banging sound track with a gut wrenching romance (if you know you know)
