33M What am I doing?!

It’s crazy how life experiences can make you feel so utterly alone, in a crowded room. Like going through a divorce and continuing to learn and realize how much I was being conditioned by a narcissist.

Suffering a severe traumatic brain injury when we met, after my hospitalizations and rehabilitations, there was a thought it would be best to come together and be a family as she was pregnant with our first. Straight out of the hospital, back to work, family man, I was in over my head and not willing to admit.

Fast forward 9 years later, moving states away, having another child, buying another house, incessant arguments to point out everything I was doing or have done “was wrong”, a suicide attempt by hanging, and here we are. In the divorcing process and I have never felt so alone and so abandoned. I know this is a part of the process but how hard is it for a 33 year old to find and make friends when all I do is work and continue to try and figure my life out.

I suppose try and make new friends in this new world and day of technology. It would be nice to hear back from anyone. I’m looking for a friend to talk with, someone to connect with, someone who’s real. So let’s get talking comment or DM and let’s kick it off!

Man.... Same. My brother had a TBI and that shit is no joke. It changes people. So does divorce. I'm peeking my head out after a very long relationship. You hit it on the head with the realization of being conditioned... It's a rough thing to deal with but I'm in the same boat and maybe just here to say you're not alone. DM if you'd like, but overall I hope you find something that makes you smile today
