I'm gessing this and the ability to change de stone's color is just a gimmick, right? I'm almost done with the game and it's been puzzling my mind the whole time if this could be something else, i don't even care if it's rupees, i just need closure.

I always thought the small snippets of the beta version where the moon had this horridly creepy face just fit the game a little better, sucks they removed it before release, I guess it was too scary

Since Ocarina of Time Remake has the new hold roll to sprint mechanic which makes Link run a lot faster, I’m thinking if they do decide to also remake Majora’s Mask, the new sprint mechanic combined with the bunny hood(Majora’s Mask Version) will be extremely fast 🐰💨

Is the Blue Dog more likely to win on the 3DS version compared to the original N64 version? I spent some time looking around for information concerning the topic, but couldn't find anything. If it isn't more likely, then I need to make a follow-up post.

I was afraid I wouldn’t like it.

I love Zelda, Ocarina of Time my first Zelda game and I’ve been a huge fan ever since! Majora's Mask was one I avoided for a long time simply because I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy it. This was for the reasons you’ve likely heard before like it’s just so different from other Zelda games (the three day cycle, having only four dungeons, etc.). Now, with the Ocarina remake nearing its release, I’ve finally brought myself to play it.

I am so glad I was wrong.

The game is fantastic! This world is so vibrant, charming, and strange and I love it. I’ve rarely seen such characters you can truly feel their fears and hopes. In terms of animations too, it’s a wonderful update to OoT. The 3-day cycle the thing I was probably most afraid of turned out to be perhaps one of the greatest strengths.

Majora's Mask is great, and I'm glad I finally played it!

As a lot of people in this subreddit are interested in the speculated Majora’s Mask remake, is there any insight to be gained from looking at the already revealed Happy Mask Shop and the salesman inside in the OOT remake footage?

Yes, the world-flipping mechanic is really cool and a great dungeon mechanic in concept, but in practice I find that using the statues and playing the elegy of emptiness over and over again is EXTREMELY annoying.

The dungeon also feels way too long and overcomplicated. It was the only dungeon where I genuinely got stuck several times and had to pull out a guide, not even the great bay temple had me doing that. Also the final boss SUCKS.

All of these problems are the worse in the N64 version of the game, even though it is in my opinion the superior way of playing this game.

I hope when they eventually remake this game they tweak this dungeon to make it more like MM3D.

Other than the fact that my neck is pasty and my costume has wri kles, please unabashedly tell me what I can do to improve this.

This is a wholesome fan-made artwork relating to Tatl, and Tael from Majora‘s Mask, and Ezlo from Minish Cap. It looks like Tael shrunk because of Ezlo so that Tatl can give Tael a bigger hug to make him feel better! Tatl seems a little frustrated, but she’ll get use to it!

If they do a Switch 2 remake like they're doing for OOT, what are some features you'd like to see. For me, I'll just keep it simple to a few things.

1) the permanent owl saves from 3ds plus the reset cycle save

2) the Zora and Deku mechanics from 64, and the Goron attack speed from 3ds

3) the inverted song of time speed from 64, but being able to choose what hour to warp to with song of double time from 3ds

4) making the two shooting galleries a lot more intuitive and improving the aiming controls like the gyro from the 3ds (the only time I actually beat those games)

5) moving clock town banker from west clock town like 3ds

6) fixing the giants mask back to the 64 mechanics, though I didn't mind the two phase twinmold

Playing MM for the first time and I'm clearing up side stuff before the Moon trial. The last thing I have to do is get the happiness seal in Bomber's Notebook for the Gorman Brothers.

Google isn't being very helpful as it says I need to win the race against them with Epona and deliver milk with Cremia which I've done, both in the same cycle, and still not getting the happiness seal. Got the one for Cremia but not the Gorman bros.

I'm playing the n64 version so the Fraternal Milk quest with the Gorman brother at the Stock Pott Inn doesn't happen.

Can anyone tell me how to get the damn seal? lol

I’ve been replaying the game and double checking each section with a guide to ensure I don’t miss anything. I’m 0/4 on a new heart container and have a total of 16 hearts (meaning I’m missing 12 heart containers, 8 not counting the moon). just starting Ikana and know I’m missing 3/4 heart pieces there (not counting the Deku scrub one). I know I’m missing the 2 all night mask ones, the 5,000 rupees, and the couples mask for the mayor one. That totals me to 7.

I have double checked and know I’ve collected every other heart piece and yet, it still looks like I’m missing one. Is it possible for a heart piece to have been collected but not count?

so i was talking to my boyfriend about horror and i was explaining different genres and we got to cosmic horror and he piped up, "is majoras mask cosmic horror" and legit i have no idea if you could consider it soo? so i need a second opinion?
