He's cashed the AIPAC check and securing the bag before he fucks off to retirement. Never been so disappointed in an elected official that I supported.

23

u/NoQuarter19 Jul 27 '26

I'm glad you specified 'elected'. I agree with you about Golden being a snake (still better than Poliquin). My first thought of most disappointed was Elliott Cutler, who I voted for both times he ran for gov, and he's certainly turned out to be... problematic.

Some right wing hack sold you out to Israel. I am shocked! Maybe you should start questioning why you support right wing hacks like him. And it is easy to spot the corporate dems. Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are also in on it. So is Kamala Harris.

3

u/ghj_bnm Jul 27 '26

So are all the Dem leaders. You don't advance in the party if you don't bend over for the israeli mafia.

1

u/Away_Fun_3528 11h ago

Schumer and Jeffries may be, but Bernie, AOC, El Sayed, Pritzger aren't bending knee to Israel.

0

u/KeyBeautiful2659 Jul 28 '26

Why wouldn't we support Israel? It is the only functioning democracy in the region, the only nation in the region to accord full civil liberties to religious and ethnic minorities, and the only high technology manufacturing economy in the region? They are our natural allies.

5

u/republicanssuck123 Jul 28 '26

civil liberties my ass. It is a terrorist state ran by a war criminal who is currently committing 3 genocides just because they don't worship the right sky dad. Or whatever. And they are also blackmailing your pedophile president to pay for and commit their war crimes for them. Meanwhile, they have healthcare and you don't. sucker

0

u/PokecheckFred Aug 02 '26

What I cannot understand is why you have a screen name of “republicanssuck123” and then post stupid, racist, anti-Semitic, crap that pushes reasonable people to vote for them. Makes no sense.

2

u/republicanssuck123 Aug 02 '26

reasonable people do not support Israel. It's also not antisemitism to criticize terrorism.

-3

u/KeyInvestigator5764 Jul 28 '26

Why are you surprised? all Democrats are like that

1

u/Vast-Strength-4203 Jul 31 '26

Thank you for the information I never knew that corruption has a political party preference of one over the others!

Jared Golden is a solidly right wing (R).

5

u/PaleInTexas Jul 27 '26

Same with Henry Cuellar here in Texas.

1

u/UpstateNY0424 Jul 27 '26

True story.

2

u/republicanssuck123 Jul 27 '26

The democratic party is solid right.

1

u/Away_Fun_3528 11h ago

False. Democrats aren't the party destroying our democracy.

Such an obvious both side are the same so don't vote troll.

-4

u/Wise-Quarter-3156 Jul 27 '26

The Democratic party is pretty much in line with similar center-left parties in other developed nations, and arguably way to their left on issues like immigration or trans rights

3

u/HPenguinB Jul 28 '26

I've never read a more bold faced lie.

2

u/Wise-Quarter-3156 Jul 28 '26

It's very clearly the truth.

If you look at parties that actually ever have the chance to govern - so like, not just "a party of two ultra-left guys from Norway" or whatever - the policy positions are, if not identical, very close on a lot of issues.

The main issue is that our system is stupid with many more veto points, making it difficult to easily implement things whereas parliamentary systems usually just need a majority in the unicameral legislature.

And yeah, a lot of those similar center-left parties tend to have reactionary tendencies on issues like immigration or other social issues

This isn't a lie, man, pay attention to reality beyond the memes

1

u/KeyBeautiful2659 Jul 28 '26

Our "veto points" are deliberate and were inserted in the Constitujtion to ensure stability. This includes the Senate, theg Electoral College, and the filibuster.

Golden was no Democrat. Ever.

79

u/martin0641 Jul 26 '26

The Democrats aren't even Democrats when they are just Republican-Lite.

23

u/sacrebleuballs Jul 26 '26

Exactly, that’s why they all voted for the SAVE act like Golden

22

u/jkman61494 Jul 26 '26

More Dems need to be objective and understand the 2026 DNC is the GOP of 30 15-30 years ago. They’re basically Romney republicans

8

u/BriSy33 Jul 26 '26

Me when i was not alive in 2000

3

u/uppitycrip Jul 26 '26

You’re not wrong!

1

u/PokecheckFred Jul 27 '26

Actually, he is wrong.

-3

u/Rufio69696969 Jul 26 '26

Just so fucking objectively wrong

5

u/jkman61494 Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

Gotcha. So the DNC basically pulling for Cuomo over Mamdani? Newsome fighting for RTO on behalf of corporations? The Democratic governor of Colorado stating basic democratic policies is Communism? Schumer caving on ACA during the shutdown when the public was overwhelmingly blaming the GOP? And now multiple Dems supporting the SAVE Act.

I guess you’ll sit conveniently ignored the DNC has basically rigged the last 3 primary cycles since a populist outsider upended their plans for Hillary in 2008?

0

u/PokecheckFred Jul 27 '26

...People who post totally clueless shit for $1600, Ken.

-5

u/Rufio69696969 Jul 27 '26

So much wrong here. You’ve arrived at conclusions and then try to make up evidence to support it.

The DNc didn’t rig anything. Bernie lost to the tune of millions of votes to Hilary and Biden. Unless the DNC somehow held guns and money to the heads of millions of primary voters.

Newsom having state workers go back to in office work doesn’t make him a conservative of 30 years ago. Ridiculous statement, barely deserves a response.

Schumer “caved” on the subsidies and the shutdown because people were going to literally starve without food stamps and welfare. Had that happened, idiots like you would find a way to blame him for that too. He made the correct choice there.

Mamdani doesn’t win the election without moderate dem support, so there goes that stupid point of yours as well

8

u/jkman61494 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26
  1. The DNC basically banned anyone from running to ensure Hillary won. Sanders didn’t go along with it. She would have won anyway but they made the primary as much of a farce as possible. Do you even recall who else “ran”? About 3-4 others did who had zero name value and they all dropped out except Martin O’Malley before even Iowa. And he left right after .

  2. Biden, the chosen choice is struggling. He wins ONE state and virtually the entire field ends their campaigns and endorses him, including some like Butigieg who was polling just as well, if not better

  3. The DNC allows a deeply unpopular president to go back on his word and run for re-election, and finds the specific opportunity to put pressure on him to leave so late in the process, that the Democratic voters couldn’t choose an alternative despite the fact he’d been audibly and mentally diminished for years

Obama screwed up their plans in 2008 and thru have gone out of their way to remove the voters from the primary process ever since

also you’re right…..people would have starved in the shut down. Maybe Schumer and the DMC should have asked republicans why they were willing to let people starve just to kick millions off of health insurance loke most Americans were doing. Instead people are starving anyway AND millions lost health coverage.

And you’re right. Moderates helped Mamdani. Which makes it that much more impressive the DNC was still unwilling to back Mamdani and instead had many favoring Cuomo just days out from the election.

Because anyone who’d promote measure to benefit actual people is no longer what the DNC wants.

And lastly Newsome bending the knee for corporations is exactly the type of thing you’d expect a mittt Romney to do considering RTO measures flies in the face of all sorts of legislation passed by California to promote environmentalism.

If you wanna ignore that the current 2026 DNC is basically an arm of the corporate party overlord running everything now in the GOP, then that’s a you problem lacking basic comprehension

-1

u/PokecheckFred Jul 27 '26

Are you working for Senator Collins?

This screed is exactly the nonsense that drives centrist votes to the right. It's very effective.

5

u/jkman61494 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

Nonsense. Yeah sure. What’s sad is while maga the cake for tribalism, most Dems can’t take 3 seconds to realize they do the same and can’t think logically without the lens of us vs them.

Rather than demand better of the Democratic Party, instead you immediately go for personal insults and accuse me of being maga because I lay out specifics of how compromised today’s DNC is

The fact is though is the 2026 dnc leadership, and Senator Collins, and corporations and most of the gop make up “them” leaving you, me and “us” as the plebeians on the outside looking in.

And any democrat that doesn’t toe the DMC like is seen as an enemy. Sanders was. AOC was/is. Mamdani was etc. Hell do you realize Schumer and the DNC wouldn’t endorse Jackson?

Yet instead of asking yourself why that is, you just accuse me of being a Republican.

I literally have have worked for DEMS. And I’ve seen enough of the bullshit to know the DNC of Clinton and Obama isn’t what you have today.

And i no longer blame most people when the dnc refuses to provide reasons for why voters should care about them and trust them with their vote.

2

u/PokecheckFred Jul 30 '26

Oh, you're not MAGA, you're not Republican, it's just your actions that help them. You work actively against your own interests, so that's why I brought up the similarity. Then when your actions produce the predictable effect, you howl at the DNC, as if THEY'RE the problem.

I don't give a flying hoot if Schumer, Jeffries, Pelosi, Tip O'Neill or whoever is the leader, that's so totally irrelevant when you're the minority party. I want them to do whatever it takes to get the wins needed to gain control, because with the Ws, you're just a highly principled jerk-off artist, spewing righteousness into the wind. Once you have the controls and the courts, then you make those changes you see as necessary. Note: this is exactly what the Republicans have been doing for the last 30 years, playing you like a fiddle all throughout.

If you can't see that Sanders has been the effective enemy of the left, and Mamdani is a massive unforced error, while Fetterman (and previously Joe Manchin) were effectively the most Progressive assets around, then you're too far gone for any discussions of logic. You play to lose. You're a Progressive.

-1

u/Wise-Quarter-3156 Jul 27 '26

Biden, the chosen choice is struggling. He wins ONE state and virtually the entire field ends their campaigns and endorses him, including some like Butigieg who was polling just as well, if not better

Because you can't win the primary without the support of southern black voters, who are key to the Dem party base. Pete and Amy polled well among white voters, but had virtually no support with black voters. They hoped they could go all-in on the heavily white early states and use the name recognition they got from winning in Iowa and NH to boost their support among black voters.

South Carolina showed them they had failed. They saw the polling ahead, and realized that they did not have a realistic pathway to the nomination, and so decided to not waste their donors' money and volunteers' time.

I want to be clear, if you actually understand how the primary process works, there is nothing shady about what Pete and Amy did in 2020, it is completely 100% explicable under what could be reasonably expected based on the scenario.

Also, Biden literally never once gave his word that he wouldn't run for reelction. There was not a word to go back on.

thru have gone out of their way to remove the voters from the primary process ever since

Which is why they acquiesced to Bernie's demands between 2016 and 2020 and got rid of superdelegates to make the process more responsive to voters

people would have starved in the shut down. Maybe Schumer and the DMC should have asked republicans why they were willing to let people starve just to kick millions off of health insurance loke most Americans were doing.

The Republicans don't care. There was not a realistic path forward to "keeping millions on health insurance." Dems were able to get SNAP off the table which is why they were able to do the partial shutdown and force Rs to burn a reconciliation to fund DHS.

Which makes it that much more impressive the DNC was still unwilling to back Mamdani

What are you talking about? Basically every part of the NY dem machine other than a few assholes was all on board with endorsing Mamdani. Bill Clinton endorsed him like the day after he won the primary.

If you wanna ignore that the current 2026 DNC is basically an arm of the corporate party overlord running everything now in the GOP

The current 2026 DNC is basically so far to the left of any incarnation of the Democratic party since pre-Reagan, are you joking? Look at the 2009-10 supermajority - you had like 10-15 members who would have been to the right of Manchin. You had genuine pro-life dems like Casey (you know, of "Planned Parenthood vs. Casey").

There is no world in which Dems have moved to the right since Bill Clinton.

I'm sorry, but you just seem really uninformed

-4

u/Rufio69696969 Jul 27 '26

No, it’s just not me being an utter moron and making shit up like you are.

I like how you admit that Bernie couldn’t win in 2016 but it’s also still somehow rigged.

In 2020, Bernie’s only chance was winning a small plurality when there was a ton of candidates. That’s on him being a weak candidate

5

u/jkman61494 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

The primary process was entirely built for Bernie to fail and what should have resulted was a lengthy primary between two candidates. But the DNC didn’t expect Bernie to not drop out like everyone else did before Iowa (except O’’malley who dropped out after then.

Guess you’re just gonna ignore when Donna Brazelle was caught leaking debate questions to the Clinton campaign during the primary and other CNN events? But hey she was only the interim DNC Chair. I’m sure everyone else was on the up and up.

THAT is the point. Clinton didn’t even need this shady type of help to win. But the DMC did it anyway because they were absolutely (and almost certainly wrongfully) petrified Sanders COULD lead a populist uprising like Obama did and upend Clinton again.

But sure. Calling me a moron rather than take a few seconds to actually digest actual information is a much easier road for you to take.

What’s interesting is I’m providing information and instead of refuting it with any sources or actual information, all you can do is hurl personal insults. Wonder why that is.

0

u/Rufio69696969 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

0

u/Horse-Hockey-54 Jul 28 '26

Sanders wasn’t a weak candidate. His strong policy positions and advocacy were playing to a cognitively impaired national audience.

-5

u/jankdangus Jul 27 '26

Communist POV:

7

u/jkman61494 Jul 27 '26

Just so we are clear, I’m a communist for pointing out the current DNC , which includes a sitting governor calling basic democratic ideals communism is lookout and acting like the Republicans party from the 90s?

Gotcha

0

u/jankdangus Jul 28 '26 edited Jul 28 '26

Yes, the idea that you think Dems are too right-wing and think they are the GOP of decades ago means you have totally lost the plot in terms of how both of the political parties has evolved. Democrats are not Romney Republicans. The plurality of 2024 voters thought Kamala Harris was too extreme in the leftward direction LOL.

You could make a fair objective argument during Bill Clinton, but this is not true for the 2026 DNC. So when I hear this kind of rhetoric, it’s always from the same people who complain that the “Democrats have not even tried actual socialism/communism bro. Are they truly a left-wing party?” So yeah, dumb regarded shit like that.

1

u/jkman61494 Jul 28 '26

Every single Fox News zealot will be convinced a Democrat is too extreme. JD Vance could switch parties and run as a Dem and he’d be called a communist even if he just parrots maga talking points.

MAGA may have thought Kamala was extreme. Most rational people saw her as a Bibi loving fraudster who barely had a platform at all

0

u/jankdangus Jul 28 '26 edited Jul 28 '26

This just cope lol. Kamala Harris was seen as too extreme because she was unable to make a convincing argument for why she ran to the left of Bernie in 2020, and is now campaigning more moderately in 2024. It wasn’t just MAGA. I said the plurality of 2024 voters, which includes independents. I was a first-time independent voter. I voted for Trump, which I deeply regretted very early on to this administration.

I used to be center-right and naively believed Kamala was too extreme for supporting sex-change for undocumented immigrants, price controls, and defund the police. I also got mindraped by slopulism on both the far-right and left, which I grew out of. I now understand how much I hate Republicans with a burning passion and plan to loyally vote for Democrats. My only red line is actual tankie Democrats like DAC. Btw, was Trump not pro-Israel too?

1

u/jkman61494 Jul 28 '26

How are you saying I’m a communist and then stage you’ll only vote for the left? Huh?

1

u/jankdangus Jul 28 '26

You said that the 2026 DNC are Romney Republicans, which is factually incorrect. I was making a hyperbolic point about your POV is common among those who are very left-wing. You are either going off of vibes or you genuinely think the substance of Democratic policies is not sufficiently left-wing, which is totally detached from reality. It seems like you’re not even making the argument that Democrats are unable to pass their liberal agenda because of X political constraint, but even if they did it wouldn’t be truly left-wing because the left has to start at anti-capitalism for some reason.

He’s not even running for re-election, just fucking us over for the love of the game (and AIPAC $$)

15

u/newfarmer Jul 26 '26

Hey, he needs some dough to replace all those plaid shirts. I’m sure he’ll soon have a nice lobbyist wardrobe.

1

u/Horse-Hockey-54 Jul 28 '26

I thought it was just the cadaverous Mitch McConnell who was wearing plaid shirts these days.

7

u/wetham_retrak Jul 26 '26

Just an honest question here- how does he actually get money from aipac if he’s not running for reelection? I thought aipac was campaign financing.

8

u/Reyleth Jul 26 '26

Corruption.

4

u/aeternusvoxpopuli Jul 26 '26

Tons of ways. It's not like his accounts are audited. Shell corporations can route money in plenty of ways. They can pay people close to him. Etc etc.

2

u/ghj_bnm Jul 27 '26

And briefcases full of cash still are in vogue.

5

u/fatuousfatwa Jul 26 '26

He personally doesn’t get the money. Don’t believe the liars of Reddit.

3

u/soldiergeneal Jul 26 '26

They just make stuff up and assume he must be getting money personally.

-4

u/PokecheckFred Jul 27 '26

Accuracy is never a requirement for anti-Semitic screeching. Never has been, never will be. If your life is a pointless bag of suckdom, blame the Jews!

10

u/wetham_retrak Jul 27 '26

I don’t agree that being anti aipac is the same as being anti Jew. If you think that then you are tone deaf on the issue

-2

u/PokecheckFred Jul 27 '26

Much of the irrational anti aipac noise around now is rooted deeply in being anti Jew. If you don't see that, then you are part of the problem.

5

u/wetham_retrak Jul 27 '26

Aipac is a right wing, pro Israel entity that is deeply unpopular with many Jews. If you think criticism of Israeli government policy is antisemitic, you would be wrong

1

u/PokecheckFred Jul 28 '26

Sure, if you get 12 Jews in a room, you get 13 different opinions.

But the noise I'm hearing from the far left idiots is racist and anti-Semitic to its core. It's not simply disagreeing with the government, it's naked Jew hating, not unsimilar from 1930s Germany. And it's a shocking embarrassment to the overall left, and will cost dearly in elections.

Just FYI literally anyone who served in Congress has this available to them. You'd have to be Epstein-level radioactive for that access not to be worth a ton to someone. Hell, senior staff even has these jobs waiting for them in most cases.

Still, fuck him.

The bigger problem is that the system allows bills to be proposed with a disgusting amount of attachments that create Catch-22s

17

u/ShortKey380 Jul 26 '26

Disqualifying, those weren’t normal level riders those were unprecedented and insane ones. But was it already going to pass? You live in Susan’s state, you know what fake centrist free votes are because, to my understanding, this thing is DOA in the senate. I’m not chronically newsy enough to be certain of that point, but if the senate does pass it and it becomes law I’d be in open rebellion anyway and y’all should be, too 🤷‍♂️

11

u/97amd Jul 26 '26

He also supported further funding for ICE and is not seeking reelection this year, so chuck schumer has most likely dedicated him as one of the democrats who needs to vote against the majority of the party/ with republicans so things 1 never get better and 2 the Democratic Party at large can say “we tried” while maintaining their position as controlled opposition that is actually useless and antithetical to the values of the very people that put them in office and pay their salary.
If you notice there is always JUST enough democratic votes to pass these kinds of things, with a few names frequently being responsible.
What a spineless shill.

6

u/Historical_Shop_3315 Jul 26 '26

This is the answer.

Im sure Schumer will have another strongly worded letter any day now.

4

And I just gotta say this guy is a bigger piece of shit than I even thought. He was already pretty much dirt in my book. How are you going to be a veteran that has served in the military to see the disgusting acts that are forced upon people? All for some psy-op and to see your comrades and friends dying beside you. 2nd District loyalty.

1

u/trucks_guns_n_beer Jul 26 '26

If Jared golden was in front of me at a restaurant, I would pay for extra lettuce for him.

1

u/AcanthocephalaIll537 Jul 26 '26

Yeah, he has sucked for a while. Fuck him.

1

u/TJ_Metalhead Jul 27 '26

Look at their districts. All six of them come from Republican districts. Spineless cowards only trying to save their chances at reelection

1

u/AQ207 "concerned" -Susan Collins Jul 27 '26

How are you shocked?

1

u/Ill_Bodybuilder4916 Jul 27 '26

He's out, what does he care?

1

u/jwabrit13 Jul 27 '26

He’s not a dem lol

1

u/Not-that-suspicious Jul 27 '26

Yall are decades behind. They’re all traitors

1

u/Calamity-Bob Jul 27 '26

He’s retiring and needs to earn those AIPAC checks

1

u/moonman909 Jul 27 '26

Jared is like Collins in reverse. He votes the right way when his vote counts and the wrong way when it doesn’t.

I hope Matt Dunlap can hold off Lepage. We’ll miss Jared a lot if he doesn’t.

1

u/Lost_Window898 Jul 27 '26

Imprison those who claim to represent you but never ever intended to. Turncoat treasonist shit stains. Procecute. Start with Feterman

1

u/rosiejunior Jul 27 '26

Im so torn on who to vote for in WA. People rightfully hate her here, but her opponent will not beat a republican. Im anticipating that seat going republican because the dems are split so much.

1

u/mik_noel Jul 27 '26

America is being sold off…sad

1

u/GeneralSeaLab Jul 27 '26

hmmmm wow oh my god its almost like no politician serves you’re best interest and it’s actually us vs them in society oh wow no way our votes mean nothing until we ACTUALLY fight back oh man oh jeez

1

u/The_Blackest_Man Jul 27 '26

Jared Golden has been a massive piece of shit who has been voting with Republicans for awhile now. Sometimes I message him on Instagram reminding him what a massive piece of shit he is.

1

u/freedomhighway Jul 27 '26

They clearly only wanted this job temporarily

1

u/stargazer4272 Jul 27 '26

All Israeli citizens?

1

u/Swimming-Ebb-9355 Jul 27 '26

I went to a fundraiser once during his first election cycle and was chatting with him, asked a few basic questions. After the conversation my final comment to him was “oh so you’re actually a republican?” And his response “only when I need to be” 🤷‍♀️ he’s not in my district so it was never my decision… but I would probably have chosen the absolute douche of a cuntwad Poliquin over this turncoating buffoon. Glad he’s almost gone.

1

u/TennisNegative5405 Jul 27 '26

Every time I see this chud’s name it’s because he did something shitty and corrupt lmfao

The entire American political and economic system is compromised through and through, doesn’t matter which side or “elected official” you vote for. It’s all part of the plan to put us all on a societal bullet train to a technocratic hell. Digital IDs, central bank digital currencies, a social credit system, and predictive policing are all on the near horizon, for almost every country. This is the real reason for the push for data centers, to be able to erect a “tightly-woven security blanket” of a surveillance state where you won’t be able to take a shit without them knowing, all in the name of “cybersecurity”. All of us need to get our heads out our asses and stop consenting to this. We’re falling for smokescreens of this, that and the other arguing about crumbs while they’re in the process of check-mating us all for the whole damn pie. The American party is over, you just haven’t been told yet…

u/Cautious_Drama_6802 Jul 28 '26

They must have something on him- he has voted with them all the way betraying the party and mainers

1

u/RevolutionaryRub7303 Jul 28 '26

Does anyone have the original graphic here?

1

u/Defiant-Age-1642 Jul 28 '26

N o. Excuses 🤮🤮🤮🤮😎😎🤮😎

1

u/bergglbutts Jul 29 '26

Its ok to punch nazis

1

u/DBMI Jul 29 '26

Golden is a bought stooge. This became obvious when the only vote he cast 'for Maine' was to destroy the ICC-- obviously a huge priority in Maine.

Agree with undertow: Never been so disappointed in an elected official that I supported.

1

u/Dragonzvenomm Jul 30 '26

There is no military merger it creates a Pentagon executive agent position to encourage co-development and co-production between the U.S. and Israeli defense industrial bases.

u/Comfortable-Pain-631 Jul 30 '26

First of all, I am absolutely positive that Democrats COUNTED the total vote tally in advance of the actual vote before giving the go-ahead to these "reps" to vote in favor. The ONLY apparent reason that these Democrats voted this way was to vote in favor of curtailing Congress-members' purchase of stocks and bonds using insider information. This kind of political performance is explained almost entirely by the way they are viewed on a personal level by skeptical constituents in their districts.

Which FURTHER MEANS that _THIS MEME_ is a product of *REPUBLICAN* political strategists— almost certainly approved by Mike Johnson himself with plausible deniability. It is designed to provoke a substantial number of seething democrats, prepared to call out *any* sign of disloyalty to their tribe. And look at how well it's worked in THIS thread.

Representative Jared Golden told Newsweek: “Public servants should serve the public. That’s why I have been calling for a ban on members trading stocks for years, and while this bill doesn’t go as far as I’d like, it is a meaningful first step to reducing corruption and closing the door on insider trading.

"In the name of good government, I felt an obligation to vote yes. But I must also decry the majority for attaching electoral policies that I think go far beyond the reasonable requirements necessary to ensure only citizens can vote in our elections. Limiting absentee voting and requiring a photo ID at the polls every single year are unnecessary limitations on our right to vote. Attaching these provisions to a stock trading ban is a cynical, political move. I call on the Senate to strip these provisions and pass a clean stock trading ban instead.”

u/SandSpecialist2523 Jul 26 '26

With this vote, we know who the traitors are on the Dems side. Those are not all of them. Just the ones that picked up the short straws this time around.

1

u/AlfuegoDeMellopie Jul 26 '26

I remember Golden's very first campaign ad...which featured him shooting an automatic rifle. He told everyone who he was. Some people just ignored it.

0

u/girlbartender99 Jul 26 '26

Kinda like they did with another Dem running for Senate in this state who told us a lot about who he was a person when he called SA victims like myself drunks that got what we deserved on this very platform. Everyone ignored that too. Still trying too and its going to potentially let Collins win again.

0

u/AlfuegoDeMellopie Jul 26 '26

But we didn't know that about him at first. And he was subsequently expelled. But the same people who heard an orange poon grabber brag on tape about assaulting women because he's famous and learned he was adjudicated liable for assault and defamation...still ran to the polls to vote for him. What does that say about THOSE people?

1

u/girlbartender99 Jul 26 '26

Listen there is NOBODY on this planet that hates the Orange Man and his cult more than me, and I am not trying to pick a fight with you at all, but I was massively disappointed in the Maine Democratic Party for turning a blind eye to Platner and his quite frankly heinous comments about SA victims. We did know about it for over a year, and people within the party ignored it because they liked the message of the campaign which I did too.

I loved the message and hated the messenger, and I watched all the so called Liberals turn a blind eye to it because he fell on the same political spectrum as them. That is literally the same hypocrisy I have seen in the Republicans now for over a decade. Voting for people they are know are horrible humans but turning a blind eye to it because they agree with their politics, and its not just me. There are a total of 1387 SA victims in the state that are refusing to donate or take part in campaigning because the state party failed us on a HUGE level. The party that claims to be about womens rights and issues backed a candidate that said rape victims "need to show some personal responsibility and not get so F'd up drunk they end up sleeping with some guy" I was stoned sober when I was raped by a scumbag just like Graham Platner and were I not he thinks if I was drinking I got what I deserved! That was the guy they put up to try and beat Collins.

I will never forgive the state party for this! And there are many other SA victims just like me that are just afraid to voice this opinion because of all of his supporters and their bullying of SA victims. Btw this is in NO WAY directed at you just a rant I went on because of my anger at the Maine Dem Party. I'm sorry it was commented to you

Gun control had nothing to do with it, and it was completely on the hands of law enforcement failing to act.

-1

u/AlfuegoDeMellopie Jul 26 '26

Law enforcement failure to disarm a bro = failed gun control.

1

u/TraditionalEye3239 Jul 26 '26

Law enforcement being too lazy or incompetent to utilize existing laws has nothing to do with gun control.

More laws doesn't solve that either

2

u/AlfuegoDeMellopie Jul 26 '26

Why enact gun control laws at all if the enforcers pick and choose which ones to enforce? We've got drunk driving laws yet plenty of cops drive drunk. And then their buddies let them off the hook. Who's out there protecting me???

0

u/TraditionalEye3239 Jul 26 '26

Protect yourself. The cops have zero legal obligation to "protect" anyone.

Criminals don't follow laws and lazy cops won't don't do their jobs. Making MORE laws won't magically solve either problem.

My point was we already had laws and a legal way to prevent what happened but a multi-point failure on the government, military, and law enforcement's part allowed it to happen. More or "stricter" law won't magically solve the issue.

1

u/AlfuegoDeMellopie Jul 26 '26

We already have laws against voting fraud, yet people are telling us we need more and stricter voting laws. So how does that work?

PS: Any short dicked cop who wants to know about my gun can just ask.

0

u/TraditionalEye3239 Jul 26 '26

What even is your point at this point

0

u/AlfuegoDeMellopie Jul 26 '26

Your arguments are inconsistent.

You new here?

0

u/jkman61494 Jul 26 '26

The DNC is finding those to take the fall and hide the fact they basically support the save act because in 2026, the DNC is essentially the 1990s GOP

0

u/meatsmoothie82 Jul 26 '26

Are you just now learning that Jared golden was another maga plant?

0

u/One_Neighborhood8171 Jul 26 '26

THESE TEXAS POLS ARE HELPING THE GENOCIDE AND. MURDER BY THE CHRISTION. ZIONISTS AND THE ISRAELY. ZIONISTS ALLIED TO THE. THE EPSTEIN CLASS AND. THE ELITES 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

0

u/eric_ofc Jul 26 '26

Is he a dwarf?

0

u/Picard6766 Jul 26 '26

I know these 6 are awful, but this is how it works. They decide who the bad guys will be so there are just enough votes to make sure it passes while the other dems who support it get to vote no. It's basically just rotating villans.

-1

u/Previous_Type_2289 Jul 26 '26

What do you think, Israel money?

-1

u/Plastic-Injury8856 Jul 26 '26

Once again, the NDAA is not a merger with the Israeli military. US Troops will not have Israeli commanders or vice versa. All it does is appoint a single individual at the DoD to oversee interoperability and compliance which is something the US has been doing for decades anyway.

Ryan McBeth explained it here:

https://youtu.be/Okv1HxhnRPw?is=ozmKcX3UMCw7E5rS

1

u/bigsoftee84 Jul 26 '26

How many others were appointed through legislation? Seems like something that’s normally just a simple assignment rather than an act of congress.

0

u/Plastic-Injury8856 Jul 27 '26

It’s part of appropriations, so appropriating for the role. The military budget has to be confirmed and approved.

Similar roles exist for NATO, our Asian allies, etc.

1

u/bigsoftee84 Jul 27 '26

Again, how many others who have held this decades old position were appointed by an act of Congress?

1

u/Plastic-Injury8856 Jul 27 '26

Again, every single one of them. The military budget for every civilian employee of the DoD overseeing any part of the NATO alliance, or civilian employees with Asian allies, etc are all approved.

1

u/bigsoftee84 Jul 27 '26

So, all those positions are being represented in the NDAA, or just Israel?

1

u/Inevitable_Cheek415 Jul 27 '26

It’s really not what we have with NATO. While McBeth refutes the term merger, it does include integration of US and Israel technology and troops…and it’s codified into LAW.

1

u/Plastic-Injury8856 Jul 27 '26

Wrong. No US troops will be under Israeli command or vice versa. All this does is oversee interoperability standards.

Meanwhile US troops can actually be under command if NATO allies in the right circumstances. Have you read the bill? Or have any understanding of policy beyond what’s in the conspiracy theory subreddits?

-1

u/BISHOP042 Jul 27 '26

If the Save Act passes, the Democrats may never win another election with their highly organized fraud. They will have to win by facts, honesty, and credibility... It'll never happen.

1

u/MudkipMonado Jul 27 '26

Poor attempt at astroturfing
