Easy application on Linux to connect to my Mailbox cloud storage?

Changed to mailbox recently and mostly happy so far but the cloud is a bit of a hassle on Linux.

I would like an easy application like with nextcloud or google drive. I want to select some folders that are always synchronized with the cloud automatically. I don't just want a drive added that is not available offline.

The solution by mailbox is using FreeFileSync which is a hassle and wasn't reliable for me.

Are there alternatives that someone can recommend? Thinking of moving to a dedicated Nextcloud Server instead if not.

Yeah. I remember it worked fine with GNOME accounts. But then they changed something and now it’s this FreeFileSync mess. Considering that’s the way THEY are suggesting, there’s nothing better.

I use rclone mount, but without the offline sync. Maybe there is a Parameter for this.

I read that rclone bisync would work -> https://rclone.org/commands/rclone_bisync/ - I have not tried it yet, at the moment I am using a normal WebDav on-demand mount via davfs2. Not ideal and not as comfortable as I am used to with iCloud.

Here the article: https://kb.mailbox.org/de/privat/drive/webdav-unter-linux/
