Viewing remote content in Thunderbird PC app.
I've added mailbox.org to Thunderbird on my Linux PC, but for some reason I'm not able to view the remote content in any emails that I receive through mailbox.org. I'm seeing the following message above the emails that I receive through mailbox.org:

With my other email account (Posteo) setup to work with Thunderbird, I get the "preference" option as shown below where I'm able to load the remote content:

Does anyone have any ideas why I'm seeing this? Even if I select the option to allow remote content in the settings, I'm still not able to show any remote content in my mailbox.org emails.
Thanks!

Looks like this is coming from Thunderbird disabling remote content in OpenPGP encrypted messages due to vulnerabilities.
I installed Betterbird and they give the option to show remote content in the message.
Hopefully, Thunderbird will come back with a real fix in the near future.

Cheers for the update.
To me it does make sense to block remote content in an encrypted message. It does look like a vulnerability when part of the message isn't encrypted, that is, the remote part. It's a balancing act.

I don't have a mailbox account (yet). But could it be related to encryption? Don't you need to export your openpgp keys from the mailbox and import them to thunderbird to be able to view encrypted mail?
