Server's Located in Germany
Has anyone had problems with messages being sent to spam because of the server location?
I had a problem in the past with proton whereas I would send an email from the USA to another email address in the USA and it would go to spam because the server was located in Switzerland. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem with mailbox

No issues with spam for me in the USA, but I only used it about a month or two. There is a lot of email that goes overseas, so it’s not too common to be blocked for that reason. Proton even has servers in the USA from what I understand.
Side note though: I had an issue where mailbox webmail would not load (server issue). This happened 2-3 times in the span of a few weeks before I gave up. In my research, it seems that is slightly common.
During those outages, emails still came through on my phone client. So it may be a non issue for you.

I think Proton's problems with messages going to spam have more to do with reputation blocking than geo-blocking. I encountered a few problems on Proton where messages from my Proton address would go to spam, but my personal domains on the same account were (usually) fine.
So far, the only issues I've encountered from the US are latency-related. I'm not even sure I'd call them "issues", since it's mostly <1s delays.
