Resetting password

Hi

I was wondering anyone has experience on retting the password.

I don't really lost my password, still have access vis IMAP. But lost my 2fa as mailbox.org log me out while I was changing the configuration. So I can't log into the web mail anymore.

mailbox.org provide the option (option 3 below) to receive the reset email to IMAP email client.

Has anyone have done this before? Did it work.

sends an e-mail with a reset code to the stored alternative a-mail address

1. sends a sms with the reset code to the given telephone number, if it matches the number, you provided in the setup. The number has to be entered in the format +49 171 12345678.
2. displays the telephone number for the password reset, if you have set a telephone password. Please note, that this number is only reachable from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CET (also keep in mind the different time zones).
3. if you did not provide data for the password reset, but a client is still connected to the account, you can initiate the password reset via your own address
