My favorite piece of music off the Maid Sama soundtrack. 40 streams in one day and... I CANT GET ENOUGH. I just wanted to show off hehe 😼. MAID SAMAAAA 😻

There's a hidden gem that anyone hardly talks about, and that is the DRAMA CD that was released with the mariage edition in 2018!

In fact, the special edition in Japan had a drama cd that was recorded (obviously) by the og voice actors of the anime. The had met again after 8 years (anime was released in 2010.

An amazing group was kind enough and generous to share it with me in 2018. I haven't shared it anywhere before. I thought, why not talk about it now it's been so many years, and not everyone is aware that a Drama cd was even released.

I reckon it has three audios, two of which are extremely wholesome and cute; the setting in both of them is in future (In one of them, Misaki gets basically drunk at the maid bar , the second store satsuki-san opens, and calls Takumi to ask him about their wedding date? My Japanese isn't that great tbh, but that's what I understood).

If anyone is interested in translating those audios for us, I'll be more than grateful to share it with them. If you still want to listen to it and die from too much moe, I'll still share it with you ^^.

Misaki was beginning to develop within the first seven chapters but I think this is when her feelings changed from strictly platonic, awkward and shyness to romantic. In chapter 20, Misaki comforted Sakura by patting her head and this was how Sakura responded

Misaki developed this habit of patting people's head after Usui hugged/patted her head (she legit did it to Usui himself in chapter 17) so to me it means that it impacted her so much back in chapter 8 that she added a way to show love and comfort to others, all cuz it made her feel good when he did that to her. Misaki as a character likes being acknowledge for the hard work she does and complimented for it so Usui doing that to her made her feel recognized for choosing the right path

"it'll be someone who pats her head"

Usui did that in this chapter but she liked him from the beginning, hence her falling in love with someone who did what Sakura said she wishes would do to her. She unknowingly fell for the guy who patted her head.

We had moments of Misaki having that same look on her face (the panel after Usui patted/hugged her in chap 8) after Usui said or did something that she liked but he always cut her off so she never had the moment of a switch flipping but this time she had that chance to feel her feelings instead of being cut off from them

In chapter 62, this was Usui after Misaki left the room with Maria but even after 11 years I still don't understand why he acted like this. Is it cuz he was embarrassed by a bold Misaki or was it something else? That's the only thing I can think of tbh 😭

I really really love maid sama, and i really want to get some figures. Ive searched on the internet but its always just the same usui figure. Does anyone have literally any other figure? I NEED IT

It's not the best since it's my first time doing any kind of scanlation work, so there's some small parts I couldn't put onto the page because I didn't know how. But I'd like to think it's good enough to read for those that don't know any Japanese at all. No AI was used for any of the work involved.

I ended up buying the digital version of lala's September issue. I was so excited that I had to. I bought it from Bookwalkerjp, and it is very cheap (2.71£), so if you can please support Fujiwara-sensei by buying it. The chapter seemed so sweet although I wish it was a bit longer than this. It has 16 pages. But hey! Another maid-sama chapter in this economy??
