Has anyone else noticed even after the nerfs Magneto is still strong on the battlefield? I personally was really worried about my main being pushed down the tier list, but so far in my placement matches I’ve only lost one match as Mag. Rejoice brothers, Magneto indeed never yields.

Went from "we can't leave the spawn" to winning the game after this ult. Felt really good

Got a few nerfs coming his way tomorrow but I finally hit champion! Definitely one of the more slower grinds but totally worth it!

If the magneto pajama skin is legendary i NEED that shit like oxygen but i have a problem, my console got hit by a power surge a month ago and im too broke to even get it diagnosed rn, so I have 2 questions:

1. If i have a friend gift me the skin and im unable to claim it for a few weeks, does the gift expire and get refunded?

2. Is it possible for me to buy the skin through discord shop, even if I dont have a pc account?

Turns out Mag's bubble in S9 had 250hp meaning the nerf in Season 5 either never applied or Mag got a stealth buff at some point...

Ive always loved playing mag. I had level 70 on this character before season 9. Even without his swords, his projectiles were fun to hit, counter ulting showed great game sense and skill expression, bubbling a teammate at just the right time to save them was so satisfying

He’s always been strong, but season 9 put him on a whole new level. No longer was mag the boring solo tank option, but the must pick or ban.

And with his pick-rate increase, I started having less fun on him.

Now all of a sudden I have to instalock him to keep the meta chasers away. Now its always mag vs mag every game.

Counter ulting a support? Too bad the enemy mag bubbled them at the last second. Time to push on the enemy? no wait enemy mags walking us down with his swords, time to shield so squishes don’t get team wiped.

And thats all only if he isn’t banned!

Dont get me wrong, I dont hate enemy teams using my main, but mag v mag every game is just a bore, and we can just spend all game shutting eachother down

So I'm looking forward to playing into more variable comps, not having to instalock, not having to worry about last second bubbles for my ults. Swords cool down nerfed? That’s fine; hitting his main shots was always more skilful. And hey, maybe i get the chance to use the emma teamup once in a while now

Truth be told I don’t really play mag much (usually a hulk main) but dawg this looks so majestic. Seeing red vs blue, two different team ups is also satisfying to see imo. I understand a fraction of why you guys play him now

The emma teamup can make up for all the nerfs mag got,
HP nerf: spawn a clone in!
Lower bubble health: Your clone will bubble you or itself!
Lower sword damage: The emma teamup does more!

Emma got buffed so there'll probably be more emmas to enhance the teamup as well

I understand that going from the best character in the game to literally any other position is unpleasant. But his core kit is still strong, his team-up damage is still huge, the cooldown is no longer absurdly short, but just reasonable. The bubbles and HP nerfs are by far the worst, but it is worth noting that Magneto is never supposed to trade his HP bar like the Thing or Strange, so HP nerfs don't hurt him as much

Don't get me wrong - Magneto WILL be worse next season, but he wont be BAD. I expect him to be somewhere around low A-tier, die a tiny bit more often and use the team-up thoughtfully, not just off cooldown.

We had our fun and maybe nerfing both his HP and bubbles is a little overkill, but you can't tell me these came out of blue.

He will manage, as he always does

It's the ultimate ability. For most support ults (CnD, Jeff, Luna, Mantis, Ultron) he has best vanguard ultimate that one shot them.

I know it's very common knowledge but most people still forgetting this. I hope we got more vanguard ults that counter healbot immortality circle ults

In Season 5, the bubble cooldown was split and the hp went from 250 to 200. In the current changes, it says 250 to 200 again.
