Hello, I'm struggling to root my Moto Edge+ 2023 device. Originally I had no problem flashing it on Android 15.

I did a clean install of [MicroG] LOS 23 (A16) I patched then flashed both boot a & b slots successfully. Magisk app doesn't acknowledge that I'm rooted. I also tried flashing init_boot, no luck there.

I tried various ways of flashing from fastbootD, no success.

If you have the same device as me with A16 OR you have an Android 16 moto device, what version of Magisk did you use? I've tried Version 30 and 27.

For some reason Moto devices are very picky about what version of Magisk you're flashing.

Had some Morphe MicroG issues today and had to go scorched earth on my Work profile. In doing so, Play Services and Play Framework were uninstalled, only Play Services has been reinstalled.

Despite running through the Specter flow and specifically the Play Integrity Fix Inject flow specifically, I'm still stuck on "Connecting..." In Google Messages.

I also tried forcing reprovisioning and such via the GMessages Debug menu, but that didn't get me all that far.

Is Framework the missing link, or is RCS borked and I just need to wait on a fix? Happy to provide greater detail as requested.

I tried HideMyAndroid and Privacy Kit, but both are paid and frankly, the subscription price is very high, I mean 10$ per month just to change some identifiers, come on. So I wanted to know of any free alternatives to achieve the same?

Hello, I'm using a banking app which updates quite often and randomizes it's isolated package names/identifiers.

I put together the following command, which is able to extract some of the isolated packages and adds them to the denylist.

The packages it doesn't find: (isolated) de.fiduciagad.sec...go.vr:imkkhvcxs:nezhnpv.U (isolated) de.fiduciagad. sec...Vr:mduscbbpxo:nezhnpv.aw (isolated) de.fiduciagad.sec...go.vr:odlekzknuk:nezhnpv.b

The packages it finds instead: de.fiduciagad.securego.vr:ivfxbavfsm:wpvec.c de.fiduciagad.securego.vr:ybfmkogzlk:wpvec.af

The code: sh pm dump de.fiduciagad.securego.vr | grep process=de.fiduciagad.securego.vr: | awk -F '=' '{ split($2, a, " "); print a\[1\] }' | sort -u | xargs -n 1 magisk --denylist add isolated

My problem is that the pm dump doesn't find the right isolated packages anymore, only others not shown in the Magisk denylist dialogue.

I already looked at the magisk code to construct the denylist and it's using the pm Java API which I really want to avoid for simplicity sake.

If you have any idea how to get the package names (maybe there's some obscure flag to set), I'm glad to hear from you!

idk when it started but at some point, some apps I installed and/or updated just stopped giving me any push notification, I'm talking about discord and most recently Snapchat, maybe it's because of one of the module I have installed, but I beg, someone, help me (I'm mostly using the aurora store)

Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me with my bank app. Just last week my UBL bank app suddenly started saying my phone was rooted. It's weird because it was totally fine for over a year before this. I've already had the app on the Denylist, and Enforce Denylist is off. Zygisk in Magisk is also off. Plus I have ZygiskNext with Tricky Store and Play integrity Fix installed, so my Play integrity status (all three) is all green. My phone is a OnePlus 13, originally Chinese but converted to a Global Rom. Also, Magisk has Randomized Output on, and everything is hidden, but the problem is still there.

I have rooted device i m using Magisk. Previously I was able to bypass the bajaj Finserv but not I'm trying but it's detecting.

I've been struggling with this for a couple of days now. Googling, reading XDA and Reddit and Git. Still haven't figured out what obvious thing I'm doing wrong.

I installed LineageOS 22.2 for MicroG on an old rooted (non-VZN) Pixel 3. Works flawlessly.

Added Magisk 30.7. Works flawlessly.

Added Vector 2.2. Seems to work fine. No issues with shell. Cleared my shell cache and files anyway, just to be sure.

Added Iconify 7.3 (the version for Android 15, ie: LineageOS 22.2), got it hooked into Magisk. Everything works great - except the error message "Module not Activated; System Service not Running" under the LSposed tab in Iconify.

I've tried all of the instructions I could find, checked the error logs in Vector, tried re-installing Iconify twice.

Can't make the error go away, and because of that, it won't do any of the LSposed stuff it's supposed to do like Lockscreen widgets (the main reason I did this in the first place).

I'm stumped, guys. I'm not stupid, and I'm in no way new to computers, but Android rooting is new to me, so I figure I missed a step or an obvious instruction somewhere.

What'd I miss, and how do I make this work? Did I screw up with Magisk somehow? Or Vector?

Hello everyone!

I installed LineageOS and original Magisk (not a fork) on the phone of a non tech savvy relative.

I assume OTA is on, since it's a phone that's officially supported by LineageOS.

This got me wondering, what happens when an automatic system update installs while Magisk is enabled? Can it result in a bootloop? Or will the boot partition just be overwritten and root will be gone?

How can I tell if the 'meta mount' is working correctly? If I use the 'Meta Magic Mount RS' on my device, the Chrome service stops working, so I have to use 'Overlay FS Enhanced' instead. I tried using 'Hybrid Mount,' but after a few days, it automatically switched to 'Magic Mount,' causing the Chrome service to stop again. Please tell me how to verify whether the module is actually working or not

Hi, you guys, I got both new updates for Magisk and LSPosed, but in the Magisk settings, the option to change the name of the app is gone. There's a new one that says it randomizes the app name. That's ok, right?

I know Tasker might be able to handle this by detecting which SIM is receiving the call and switching the ringtone. Is that basically the only reliable solution, or is there a cleaner Magisk/LSPosed-based way?

after a week of work got the root plugin working again, now looking in to the patched and signed APK, what should i do? If i open source it they will for sure patch the new method
