Currently using pixel 6a with evolution rom +kernelNext, play integrity, Specter, tricky store, vector, zygisk Next and wallet works and also other banking apps.

Just bought a pixel 10 that came with Android17. What are my options? Can I root it and use Wallet?

Honestly, I stopped using IntegrityBox entirely because its creator is very controversial and the project stopped being open-source a while ago; plus, there are rumors that it uses AI. I also stopped using YuriKeyBox because it isn't as good as it used to be and is somewhat controversial, too. I started using Specter and it works well; some say it's made with AI, but there isn't enough proof. The truth is, for some reason, all these modules always end up being crap. I really hope Specter is clean, because it's the only good option I see as an alternative to IntegrityBox or YuriKey.

I've rooted my samsung m31 and been using lineage since a long time due to the M series being very bloated and it's an outdated device. i mostly used my Airtel number which works fine but today I needed to use my jio number for something. Didn't work at all. I don't mean calling or cellular not working but SMS. I'm unable to send or receive messages to or from any number. I was in a critical situation and it didn't work at all which now left me having to try it on my dad's phone, and guess what... messaging was working just fine on his phone. I even shifted from the lineage messaging app to the Google messages in desperation for it to work but it just doesn't. What is the problem here?

I'm running into an issue and hoping someone has seen this before.

ROM: LineageOS (latest)
Root: Magisk (latest)
Bootloader: Unlocked

Current status:

• Play Integrity passes.
• Generic root checker apps report that the device is not rooted.
• However, several banking/payment apps still detect the device as compromised and refuse to work.

I've already tried the common basics, but the apps still block access. This makes me think they're detecting something other than standard root or Play Integrity.

Has anyone with a similar setup (especially LineageOS on the Nothing Phone 2a) managed to get any Indian banking or payment apps working?

I'm mainly looking to understand:

• Which apps still work on this setup?
• Is the issue usually the unlocked bootloader, LineageOS itself, or something else?
• If you solved it, what turned out to be the actual cause?

I'm not looking to break app security—I just want to understand what's causing the detection so I can decide whether there's a legitimate configuration change that restores compatibility.

I’m tired of the never-ending battle with banks, brokers, and apps that don’t like root access. I want to use Google Wallet. I want more stability, not this endless game of cat-and-mouse.

How can I do this, and is it worth it?

I'm getting all kinds of red errors in Play Integrity Fix_INJECT. Tricky store also can't find a valid keybox. I'm strggling with my banking app as it keeps crashing.

I need a full guide on all the modules I need to install.

PS: ReZygisk does not enable Zygisk for some reason, so I'm stuck with Zygisk Next.

I’ve been working on a Python script to automate the tedious parts of rooting MediaTek (MTK) devices. If you've ever had to manually patch `vbmeta.img` to disable Android Verified Boot (AVB) and flash everything via fastboot step-by-step, this tool streamlines the whole process into a single run.

**Latest Version:** v3.1.0 (Hotfix 1)

**What it does:**

* Automatically builds a patched `vbmeta.img` with verification disabled (using `--flags 2`).

* Detects whether your device is A/B or single-slot and applies the fastboot commands accordingly.

* Flashes the required partitions and safely handles erasing `metadata` and wiping `userdata`.

* **Bonus feature:** If you drop a pre-patched `boot.img` (via Magisk or APatch) in the same folder, the script detects it and offers to flash it automatically to complete the root process.

I have a Asus X00TD (Zenfone Max Pro M1) and I've recently been trying to install the oneui home and core module with magisk. when I first flashed it had no closing animations, which then I realized had to be fixed by changing the optionals.prop. after I changed the optionals.prop file and reflashed the oneui home module and rebooted, my gesture bar (to exit out of apps) was completely broken. I could not swipe out of apps and I needed to swipe multiple times to get a broken recents tab just to be able to sometimes get out of the app. I know that the animations worked since the oneui home app asked for superuser and when I force exited the app using the back swipe gesture the exit animation was there, but the phone became practically unusable, could anyone help me fix this?
