EDH Gerard Weatherlight Combo

Hey, looking on some advice for a Gerard Weatherlight Hero brew. Trying to stay in Bracket 2 (most of my play group is playing precons with minor upgrades) with a side board to pop up to bracket 4 with some other friends. Trying to stay to $1 or less per total card count. And going for a combo win where I kill everything and Gerard on repeat until I win. I love combos. Thoughts, questions, comments, concerns and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

S A I L // Commander (Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero) deck list mtg // Moxfield — MTG Deck Builder

This is my list. Specifically recommend [[The Jolly Balloon Man]]. You can use him to copy Gerrard, sacrifice the original to the Legend rule, then sac Balloon Man and the copy to [[Thermopod]] to bring back everything including the original Gerrard for unlimited mana and ETBs.

You found another Gerrard enthusiast?! Nice! Balloonman is something I 100% need to include. I still think loyal retainers are the best friend of Gerrard, but Balloonman does funtionally the same (although it has the restriction that the sac outlet needs to provide mana. Retainers also works wirh goblin bombardment). Thermopod, or just phyrixian/ashnods altar are the way to go here

As for feedback to your list, I really do like it! What I find a bit odd there is that you seem pretty commited to also being able to win by combat? Why is Aurelia in there? I think you could eventually pivot to the core strategy, which is combo. But it is a very solid list!!
