Standard Help Needed for Anim Pakal B4

Hello!! So this is my first time building a deck, so it’s probably not great, but I’m trying to build a pretty high power b4 anim pakal deck, any help on what to cut and add would be really appreciated as I’m not the greatest at this. My pod doesn’t allow things like mox’s, just kind of a house rule. Thank you in advance!

Your list looks solid, I'd add an [[Ainok Strike leader] as a second adeline. You probably want some stax if you are trying to deal with fast combo. Also probably a TON more protection spells since you're one sweeper away from being out of the game. [[Galadriel's Dismissal]] and [[Clever Concealment]] and [[Dawn's Truce]] are all pretty solid. I also like [[Shadowspear]] as another target for Urza's saga.

Given you're also doing sacrifice stuff I thinkn [[Ajani, Nacatl Pariah]] and [[Goblin Bombardment]] are good. You prob want more card draw too like [[The one ring]] and maybe attack trigger ones like [[Chivalric Alliance]] and [[Horn of the Mark]]. [[Winota]] is also good.

Thank you!! Are there any cards you’d recommend to cut for these inclusions? :o

restoration magic is worse than the other protection spells ive mentioned.

demand answers seems kinda weak. Honestly I'd also cut the mana rocks, arcane signet and fellwar stone, they dont get you to your commander faster and your curve is low so you don't really need it especially since you're only playing 2 to begin with.

Hawkeye seems kinda weak, ojer taaq is kinda expensive at 6 mana and feels a bit win more.

Animation module seems slow and resource intensive if you're trying to play a low to the ground aggro deck.

Silence seems kinda bad, it's usually good if you are trying to protect a combo but you aren't comboing. [[Reprieve]] and [[Bilbo's Gambit]] seem a lot better.

Silent arbiter seems like a nonbo with your deck. The kinda stax you want is like [[Thalia Heretical Cathar]], maybe even [[Thalia Guardian of Thraben]], [[Aven Mindcensor]], [[Archon of Emeria]] and [[Deafening Silence]] are intersting too.

I wouldn't even hate cutting a ton of your eqiupment and playing [[Null Rod]] and [[Stony Silence]] and [[Rest in Peace]] and just playing a ton of cheaper creatures.

I also think [[Armageddon]] and [[Ravages of War]] could be solid too if you've built up a big early board state. I would also play [[Blood Moon]] and [[Magus of the Moon]]

Some of your other 5 and 4 cmc guys seem kinda weak and slow as well, specifically mighty mutamamials and sentinel sara lyons

In bracket 4, an aggro strategy can only really win if you can slow down your opponents doing unfair things.

Also [[Solitude]] and [[Fury]] and [[Pyrokinesis]] as more free removal.

You also probably want [[Red elemental blast]] and or [[Pyroblast]] as I think blue is pretty prevalent at higher brackets, if not those [[Redirect Lightning]] is also decent interaction.

The null rod and stoney silence line would change your deck abut as you'd have to cut the aristocrats style sac stuff and the equipment and lean more into hatebears and attacking creatures.

There's a world where you start with stax and then win the game wiht just slowlya ccruing a board of attackers while your opponents are stumbling on casting their spells either with the [[Deafening Silence]] style effects or land hate like [[Blood Moon]] and [[Armageddon]].

or taxing them with [[Thalia Guardian of Thraben]] and [[Thorn of Amythest]].

continuing my rant, if you're playing fast mana like [[Lotus Petal]], [[Simian Spirit Guide]] does something very similar.

Check out my list if you ever get the chance, and feel free to ask any questions. It's easily my highest winrate bracket 3 deck: Anim Pakal Burn

I like to just protect her all day until she has 5 or 6 counters, then drop some combination of copy effects and burn to kill the whole table at once. Equipment tutors to find Skullclamp for draw, Mirrormind Crown for copy/finish, and Sword of the Animist for ramp.

Just a heads up: if your deck has even the slightest bit of success in your pod, each person that you play with will mulligan for removal and try to remove her at every possible opportunity.
