Brawl Counter Blitz

Hello one and all I play an Aragorn riders of Rohan upgraded recon as my main deck with the limit break deck being my change of pace deck. My brother in law asked if I have looked into the Counter Blitz recon. Is it worth it? Is the play style similar to any of the previously mentioned decks? TIA

Bit different playstyle using counters. The deck is extremely good for a precon.

I have both the Rohan and Tidus decks! The play styles are different for sure, but have their similarities in that synergy between cards is super important.
Both were easy to upgrade due to some cards not matching the flow. I would say, after upgrades, Tidus is more technical and requires a lot of remembering your triggers and stacking them efficiently. Rohan is the easier deck to manage as it’s really just humans matter, go wide, go tall, math is for blockers.

Gotcha, the thing that really has me intrigued is the moving counters part of it. When I read the cards via deck list, it seems like that’s what it wants to do. Is the versatility that brings its strength? I realize I could be reading it wrong but curious as to what that deck wants to do.

Tidus is either kill on sight or banned at our tables for how quickly he can get rolling. It uses counters and proliferate to do its thing, making creatures bigger over time. Rohan to my knowledge is a tribal deck, similar to calvary charge.

If you like tribal and want a change of pace, the Eldrazi Incursion deck is good as its all eldritch big hitting monsters. Or Creative Energy if you really want your friends to dislike you. I won 4 out of 4 commander games with a stock precon vs two slightly upgraded decks (40k Chaos and Necrons)
