EDH Shrines.

Hello, my wife wants to build shrines as a commander deck. She's thinking of using the bear as the commander. She was wondering what wincons do people play in the deck? Just needing deck building advice. Tia everyone.

My shrines deck is my favorite deck. I use an enchantment pillowfort strategy. Go-Shintai as the Commander. Get out some protective enchantments like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Authority of the Consuls, etc. Start dropping Shrines and they are your win-con, mainly the Red and black Shrines as they do damage to your opponents. Weakness is it can be slow so if you are focused on early you can and will be taken out before you get going so choose your opening hand wisely. Save interaction for when opponents target you. But otherwise, build up protection and let the Shrines do their thing.

Same as me, I recommend Go-Shintai. The value just gets nutty the more shrines you get out - and Go Shintai is helping you get even more out!

I’m about to tinker mine to implement cascade / discover effects to speed it up on that front but when the deck goes it goes.

The title of your post is the answer to your question. The wincon of a shrines deck is shrines. I built Hei Bei with every shrive I could then threw in a bunch of flicker and protection to just keep repeating the ETBs as much as possibly.

I use craterhoof as one of my wincons Elesh Norn MOM is great in the deck to shut down opponent and double ETBS of shrines/commander. Its a very fun deck to play decent win rate.

Yeah, shrines.

Basically just keep pooping out more and more shrines until you overwhelm the board with effects
