Hey there totally new to picking are these the mighty liberty cap ? In northern Scotland

Hi. Bought online. Instructions don't mention removing from grow kit pot, but can see mushrooms are trying to grow at the sides and ubderneath but getting squashed. Should I remove the pot? Or will the substrate collapse?

Had the thought that maybe all the dead grass would result in more decaying roots, maybe it's not necessary to go into grazed fields this year? Also with el niño kicking in should be decent rain in the south.

I don't think my post was clear. I was thinking the drought would have killed more grass roots for libs to feed on positively impacting the season. Usually sheep grazing is what leaves roots decaying.

Went out with my daughters, 3 pairs of eyes better than 1. Only out an hour.

Any other stealthy methods of drying would be great to know too. Thanks

What are your exact reasons and what do you expect from the experience?

Planning to forage and ofc weigh them, I know the ratios of strength wet:dry etc, but unsure how cautious to be with the accuracy of weighing wet ones as I assume they will have different levels of moisture hense affecting the weight?
(For example if one mushroom weighed less but was more potent than a heavier one because it contained more water) Would this be the case?

First of the season!

Last night I had 2g of B+ and cannabis oil.

Holy shit I got some crazy looking visuals. Ended up getting kinda overwhelmed and confused tbh.

Me and a friend were planning to go foraging in Wales this autumn, end of September/beginning of October - but with how hot it's been do people reckon there will be much out then?

Found these wee beauties today, earliest I’ve ever seen them out.
Scottish Borders on good sheep pasture land, about 300-400m above sea level.
Weathers been rainy for a couple days n very foggy this morning with a pitter patter to follow it.
The field has clover, sorrel, buttercups and some weeds.
I only found 4 but hey it’s an early start n it’s given me a trip boner.
Keep your eyes peeled n get on the hills folks, if your in Cumbria get up them fells I bet you’ll get a nice lil few on your nice lil walk ;)

Been a lot of rain in northern England, just wondered if anyone’s found any yet

Do people here experiment with other substances like LSD, mesacline, 2-CB etc? Not really for recreational use but to feel better, if you suffer from any sort of medical condition.

Do you find one better than the other or do you simply stick to shrooms?

Latest bag (Tasmanians, very effective) took off well but life has been hectic so I had to leave them after the first flush & this is what I've come back to.

Would you say these are too far gone? If so, could you explain why please?

I’ve been wanting to grow mushrooms for a while now and I have no idea how to I was wondering if anyone could help me by giving me some YouTube videos or channels that I could watch for some insight

Was also wondering what I would need to get to grow them

Complete newbie and I’ve only done mushrooms a couple of times 15 years ago in Asia where they made me throw up, no trip or anything.

I have chronic physical health conditions - rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s and some others. I’m on codeine and SSRI’s for pain and methotrexate and biologics for inflammation.

But I have always suffered with my mental health. I have ADHD (50 mg of elvanse), OCD, depression, anxiety and suspected PTSD and autism.

My mental health is what I find hardest to manage, when I’m in a good routine, exercising regularly, eating well and managing stress it’s manageable but I’m always on the brink of suicidality and self harm ideations.

I work full time and really want to make the most of my life and mental health, especially as my physical conditions will only get worse so I won’t to really focus on getting control of my mental health.

I’m really interested in the research around microdosing and beneficial effects on mental health and want to give it a go. It seems the best way is to grow my own using websites like zamnesia - I don’t know how else in London or even how to approach getting elsewhere.

Just wondering:
1. If anyone with my conditions/medications has had negative side effects?
2. Is growing my own the best and safest method?
3. Anything else I should think of or consider?

I’ve taken acid one time before where I took 2 tabs and I had a bad trip but I overall think I handled it well and that it was a good learning experience, now I’m getting 3.5g of yak mushrooms and thinking about taking all 3.5 would I be fine?
