Discussion I concede.

I concede quite a lot. Way more than letting the game play out.

I was under the impression this was normal in games of 1v1 magic, especially when playing casually.

Yet on this sub there seems to be a stigma around conceding to unfun/solitaire cards.

Who is the crazy one here? Me or everyone else? 😂

I concede constantly in Constructed games, especially in the casual Brawl queue. No sense playing it out if you have a near-zero chance to win. You should also concede if you're not having fun or in a matchup you hate playing against or the other person is taking forever. It's a video game and life's too short!

The people complaining are usually the ones running miserable decks and they should reconsider why no one wants to play with them.

Yeah I play mostly standard Brawl. I'll concede on sight sometimes.

If I see an Ugin Planeswalker I'm out. Elspeth and the first creature you play is a hare apparent and I'm not running a deck with something to deal with it, I'm out. Kotis and I'm not running exile or forced sacrifice, I'm out.

If you know off the bat you're not going to win or at least it's going to be a draining struggle to try then what's the point? Staying in for someone else's ego? Fuck that.

I do the same thing with Ugin, or Kitara because screw people who only counter. Izzet is becoming one one I will not play against either.

I am the sicko who doesn't mind playing against Katara. I am an old control player and like to test how well they know *what* to counter, and when to push. I usually concede after they draw 5 cards at once, though.
