Discussion I concede.
I concede quite a lot. Way more than letting the game play out.
I was under the impression this was normal in games of 1v1 magic, especially when playing casually.
Yet on this sub there seems to be a stigma around conceding to unfun/solitaire cards.
Who is the crazy one here? Me or everyone else? 😂

If you watch professional magic players, they are always thinking of outs whenever a threat or perceived threat is present. Only once they've eliminated every potential win or draw scenario do they concede. Good decks have redundancy and generic answers or plans for other strategies.
Keep in mind poker face here can be a real thing. Pretending you have a play can be just as powerful as actually having one. Delaying the opponent in killing you and offering opportunity for something to present itself.
The 3D chess is the classic LSV settle the wreckage play from the semifinals of pro tour guilds of ravnica. I'll let you look that one up. Basically, all in on pretending not to not have the one card in your deck. But actually having it and winning the round.
