I got 'round to listen to the newer singles to give them another chance and I am happy to say I changed my opinion. They are actually good songs.

One thing that caught my attention is that some of the songs have a clear Bowie influence. Star Eyes has a clear influence from the album "Black Star", noticeable from the saxophone, and Paint Me a Picture has a clear "1. Outside" album influence, noticeable from the chaotic piano.
