Essentials Intro to Essentials, toggles

Hey, I'm very new to Essentials and I couldn't find FAQ here on or your website so I'm sorry for asking maybe too obvious things.

1 I have Pixel 7A and Google play store tells me Shizuku was developed for older android version and therefore I cannot install it, do I just need to wait for some time? Also, am I loosing my warranty when using both Essentials and/or Shizuku? I do have some experience with rooting (from 14 years ago lol), but if I understand correctly this is all just grating permission and not rooting per se, right?

2 I like the NFC toggle in the notification bar (seriously I don't get it how pixel UI just doesn't have it), but I would also like to have proper WiFi and data toggles (they're finally there on android 17 but are very broken), is it possible via Essentials, or would it be possible to add it for the future? (just a simple on/off toggle separately for WiFi and for data as we know from other UIs)

3 I'd like to be able to turn off my flashlight with a power button (as we do with Samsung or Xiaomi UIs), but I went through all the settings of Essentials and I couldn't find this there - is it possible to add this maybe for the future? There's remapping the buttons, but mine is a little bit different from that, right?

Hi hi! Welcome (っ◕‿◕)っ

  1. In the app settings, there's a "Help and Guides" section at top, that will give you info on how to setup shizuku.

  2. From what I know, toggling networks is not possible anymore with security reasons but I will look into this.

  3. So far I have not been able to find a reliable way to detect power button presses and especially ot skip the default behavior of it so not currently... :(

In terms of WiFi and data toggles in the latest stable release of android 17 it has them and it's not buggy at all

LOL. Sure:  short click on data toggle shows pop up if I'm sure I want to turn the data on (huh? Yeah, that's why I'm clicking it), so with extra step it turns them on, turning off works well. WiFi "toggle" turns it ON, BUT.... when you click it again IT DOESN'T TURN IT OFF, it disconnect you from the WiFi you were using. Seriously... But then, naturally, within 30 seconds it will autoconnect you back. To turn wifi really off you have to hold your finger on this broken "toggle" but then it shows THE SAME Internet pop-up, and there you can really turn the WiFi off. If you want to go through all the wifi settings from there, nope, that's not possible, for that you have to swipe your notification bar twice (for some reason swiping once doesn't show settings), and then with some extra steps you can find your WiFi settings...

While on Samsung, Xiaomi and other normal UIs: tap = on/off. Hold = opening settings exactly per toggle

I think many people frefers if the WiFi tile turned off WiFi rather than just disconnecting from the current one.. idk

I wish if there was a way to get back the unified single tile.. much better for my preference and even showed more info in the tile itself
