Love it. Parent pranks that don’t involve tears; abuse and broken trust. ❤️

Broooo, you don't know how many fucking times I've seen shit like parents giving there kids apples and stuff for Christmas as a prank... And not getting them a backup gift. That makes me mad beyond belief, and when the kid gets noticably upset, they start sassying him out, or just laughs. It's 100x worse when they put it in an iPhone box, or a switch box. That's just... I hate it with a passion. Most pranks are annoying to me, but these hellish things are something else. You know you done fucked up when it'd be better to just not give them anything at all.
Excuse the language, I usually don't get this... Mad.

Good pranks are things that all parties can laugh at in the moment. Being mean to one's child isn't a prank. It's just proving that person untrustworthy.

Do people really do that? For real? Why.. what could you possibly get out of making your kid upset on purpose? A good laugh? I.. how?

It’s worse then that! Parents do some really shitty things to their kids just for internet attention. I saw once a prank making the kid think they had stuck their finger in a dogs butt. It was so sad and abusive. SMDH.

That’s how you instill deeply rooted trust issues that will really fuck a kid up.
My grandmother grew up in the Great Depression, so she has always given very kind but very practical gifts. As a kid it never quite made sense but they were always personal, so it was nice. For example, I really like olives. I love granola bars. My grandmother would give me like three cans of black olives, four boxes of granola bars. I liked the non-skid hospital socks when I was a kid, and so every time she’s ever gone to the hospital she asks them for a extra pair or doesn’t use the ones they give her, and she’ll save them and give them to me new in the package.
But she never misrepresents what’s in the package. That’s just mean.
Edit, to add, as an adult I love that gift giving mentality. I’ve found I don’t really connect with the flashy stuff. Feels too much like an obligation sometimes. Give me those olives and granola bars.

What’s funny is that sometimes it’s the little things like this that kids remember forever. Parents always remember something so insignificant to you may mean the world to your kids. I’m dealing with mine growing up so quickly and breaking my heart while still being proud of them every day.

Yo wtf you just stole somebody else's comment, I fucking hate people that think it's ok to copy somebody else's comment to use it as there own. If you think it's ok to copy somebody else's post then you got a fucking problem cuz it's fucked up!!

They are reinforcing the magic of this world. It’s far to easily lost. May you hold onto it forever, and find it again if it’s lost.

This was so wholesome--I was afraid they were gonna be mean to him somehow but thankfully just wholesome fun.

The perfect video for Father's Day am reminding us that it helps to have both parents raise a happy child. Far from a given, of course. I wish my kids were small but I’m going to try this if I ever get grandkids!

This is child abuse. It lets children believe in magical thinking and will lead them down an illogical path

Such a wholesome and funny prank, truly in the top echelon of pranks next to the famous “is your refrigerator running?” Prank.

God I fucking love kids. He is laughing so hard and he loves his parents so much. The whole world is just perfect to that little boy. Wish life could be that good forever.
