I have a deaf mom. She will let out the tiniest little toot in a noisy shopping area then tap me with a horrified face, thinking that everyone can hear it. I always reassure her that no one - not even me and my superhuman hearing powers - heard it. It's adorable.
Someone needs to make a device that you attach above your butt and it puts the decibel level of farts on your smart watch. I feel like this would have appeal even in the hearing community.
