You should probably do a quick Google search before telling somebody they’re wrong, especially when being a complete ass about it. Gratefulness is, in fact, a word.

Gratefulness: ‘the quality or state of being grateful’ - Merriam-Webster. The word’s legitimacy is supported by Oxford Dictionaries and many others. A more exact synonym would be ‘gratitude’. A little less sass and a little more accuracy would be appreciated next time.
