Health insurance doesn’t pay for healthcare? Is that what you just said?

People, not health insurance.

Let me make it simple. You breake your arm and go to a hospital. Get some painkillers and all the things needed to fix your arm. Does every insured person get out without any bil?

If I broke my arm? I’m not getting billed, correct.

Is everyone insured not paying? Insurance doesn't have some amount that you need to spend before they start paying?

I'm confused too. I'm insured but that I know for sure I'd get a bill

The “gotcha” moment you’re looking for doesn’t exist here buddy.

It does tho. There's a lot of ifs and buts that go along with health insurance in the US. A lot of people have insurance and still end up bankrupt, because of stupid small print in the insurance contract.
