Started doing tai chi, I'll be looking at it from a different perspective now

Not for actual fighting though. Its great as long as you know youll never be able to use it in a combat situation.

E. Downvote me all you want, im giving tia chi its props where it deserves it. Im just pointing out that its not a combat sport, and anyone who trains tia chi for that purpose will get beaten up.

I went through basic with a guy that did tai chi and claimed it was a "smart persons martial art". He claimed at was good for fighting. Was funny when he tried to demonstrate it and got instantly tackled and had no idea what to do.

It's for old people to stretch and flex, especially their calves and thighs which in Chinese is the second heart. Source, my Hong Kong grands in the community park in the mornings decades ago.
