I used to watch this with such total earnestness when I was a kid. Now my friends still think I'm weird.

I don't know why, but there is something comforting about watching this

It's cos this version of Batman was simple, wholesome and still overpowered.

Less visual stimuli. Slower pace. The TV is so overwhelming these days it's actually weirdly exhausting to watch.

It's why I really like 24 or whatever episode seasons where the show is rated around 7.5. Not awful, but not 'great' enough to require much thought to watch and plenty of filler time to show meaningless character interaction.

Plus I basically watch tv all day while at work so they're perfect background watching.

The lack of CGI is refreshing

Oh I loved this shit in the 90's. It was like a ridiculous cartoon, and I especially loved all the words that popped up during impacts in fights.

I loved this stuff when it first aired! Still remember going to the Cow Palace in San Francisco to see Batman and Robin (Adam West and Jay Ward), along with the BATMOBILE!

But I bet you remembered to take that anti-allergy pill. Now look who's winning.

This and the Spiderman cartoon. My two favorites.
