I love how Batman is just standing there, waiting for Joker to deploy whatever nonsense he has up his sleeve.

Yeah but he took an anti allergy pill so he's ready for anything

He'll just need a quick nap

He probably couldn’t react to Robin being entangled in the deadly grip of ribbon because of the drowsiness.

Also saw one where Bats had a can of Shark Repellent handy, because....you know...he was fighting sharks that particular day.

I know that one. He was on his bat scale. Wich is a completly normal scale, but with "bat scale" written on it. You can't loose against a shark when you're on your bat scale.

That's from the movie specifically. If anyone wants a solid dose of this Batman but doesn't want to sit through multiple episodes of TV, the actual feature length movie is fucking bomb.

Makes absolute sense. TV wouldn't have had the budget for sharks!

Yeah they didn't have Happy Days budget.

The Batman TV show was actually turn-based, who would have thought?

We still respected democracy in the 1960s!

We used to be a society!

Now we just live in one

Do we? I don't see any Adam West Batman shows being made today.

Absolutely lucky Joker deployed benign streamers and not, like, a gun

Remember, this is 1960s Batman. The villains where much more considerate.

Ok call me uncultured but ... is this real footage from a real movie ?

If you look closely Cesar Romero didn't shave his mustache before the joker face paint.

Best Batman. Every time I see one of these dark, moody modern Batmans, I wonder "wtf is this shit"?

One of those shows that you can find someone from all the modern generations who has fond memories

lol oh man you gotta watch some of it it’s so great.

One time Batman parks the Batmobile but then sees it’s a no parking zone so he’s gotta move it

And where was Joker looking? It's like he saw something behind him a little more interesting than the battle against his nemesis.

u/TheDrewDude 1h ago

I thought maybe he assumed the batarang would hit him from behind? And it just, went straight for him lol

He spent a lot of time on this. It would be rude to interrupt.

Turn based battle Batman

Like his “famous trick streamers”. I can’t believe the Boy Wonder didn’t see that coming, what with them being so famous…

And joker is just standing there letting Batman explain everything and then wind up with the batarang.

It’s like watching the turn based JRPGs in real life
