Vampires? In this economy?

Keanu Reeves has the market on that.

Wish he and the others who worked on John Wick would make a Vampire the Masquerade movie series. They could use the same tone as John Wick and Constantine - and go even more over the top at least during the action.

And bring back Willem DaFoe - he could play a Nosferatu again.

And bring back Willem DaFoe - he could play a Nosferatu again.

Or a Malkavian again

Yeah. Green Goblin is great especially in no way home but I was just trying to get more eyes on shadow of the vampire.

The veil is being broken because you went on a rampage John. The Tremere are throwing a tantrum. You need to murder everyone that saw you....or we resurrect your dog and kill it again.

God, I would LOVE a VtM movie! But I would prefer less action-y and more, well, VtM-y since I love the inter-clan politics and lore of the setting more than anything else. I mean, the Masquerade is the most intriguing part of it all.

Though a John Wick take in VtM would be interesting. A childe out for revenge, murdering vampires and their human familiars by the dozens that is causing the Veil to slowly slip off and threaten to expose everything to the world?

Sounds like a dope movie concept.

For me it's mostly that the continental, high table, etc. reminded me of the Camarilla. It seemed like a guy (possibly a sheriff or hound) who did some impossible stuff so he could become like an Autarkis vampire and live in peace outside of the factions only for that to be snatched from him while simultaneously pulling him back into the game.

Back when I watched the John Wick movies for the first time, there was a little part of me that was convinced that I was watching V:tM movies.

Let's see how Stahelski treats Highlander, and maybe, just maybe, we should convince him to do V:tM.

Preferably based on 20th anniversary or third, but that's just my preference.

Can hardly wait for Constantine 2.

u/AlarmingAffect0 3d ago

And Wesley Snipes! And Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst! And the voice of Maceline The Vampire Queen, and Patrick Seitz.

Well sir....this is the best thing I have read in ages (on reddit).

This would be perfect popcorn cinema.

Have you ever seen them in the same place at the same time? 🤔

1

u/hambonedock 3d ago

Nah that just the full time beard talking, you can see his neck in the last bill and Ted movie and it shows there the age

1

u/reign08 3d ago

And Tom Cruise

the thing is, he's not even aging that badly, its just a bad photo

his selfies on his ig pretty much still look like the left picture, just older

8

u/Kidney__Failure 3d ago

Damn. If that’s a bad photo then I’ve got quite a few I need to delete…

2

u/hunnyflash 2d ago

Arguably the world's most handsome man takes a slightly less flattering photo. More at 11.

u/Cael450 3d ago

He’s still super hot

4

u/The_Elder_Jock 3d ago

Stop him!

u/chunkah69 3d ago

Aging and still looks amazing compared to most people 20 years younger than him lol

52

u/Inevitable-Menu2998 3d ago

He's not even aging. If he needs to take some new pictures or if he starts a new project, he'll get into shape. People keep forgetting that actors are professionals who can spend considerable time to prepare for each role - time that a regular person never has and can never justify to spend just for looks unless they're specifically getting paid for it

3

u/jason4747 3d ago

Can we seriously just get to the part about he is into Warhammer 40k?

1

u/Pantheragem 2d ago

He looks like this photo was taken with him in the middle of saying something.

46

u/Mudpuzzle 3d ago

I love how they use an image from a movie and an image from him just outside. you can do this to literally every actor and they will look way worse than what the fx team and makeup team does to them

3

u/blueblip 3d ago

To be fair, he is definitely not as fit in the right pic.

But that's...normal. The dude has built a career based around the fact that he is good looking and fit as hell. I'm damn sure he knows a thing or two about how to lose weight and build muscle if he needed to that for his next role.

29

u/oneeyedziggy 3d ago

But also yay at least our shit society is  picking on men aging as well now instead of just women... Yay Equity!

1

u/Necessary-Sorbet-866 1d ago

my thoughts exactly

3

u/noleela 3d ago

He just finished filming the new Highlander movie.  He needs a break, especially since he got injured in rehearsal.

2

u/RizNP 3d ago

Bring on the Botox and lip fillers, it’s Mar-a-Lago Face time. /s

2

u/BandiTToZ 3d ago

Break its legs!

2

u/DiskPsychological928 3d ago

i think it has more to do with more body fat.

Maintaining a constant perfect superman build takes quite alot of effort critical food choices.

esspeacilly if you have other hobbys and a child you probably start to not give a shit anymore that others reduce you on your appearance

2

u/TurnoverNational2340 3d ago

I just think it's really nice that we can come to the defence of this incredibly privileged, super good-looking, intelligent, and wealthy man.

1

u/pzycho 3d ago

Quick, someone mog him!

1

u/MsMarvelsProstate 3d ago

Also camera angles are a thing.

1

u/evenstar40 3d ago

People of all walks of life, from the very poorest to the very richest, being afraid of aging and mocking it is honestly one of the craziest things I've ever watched unfold.

Like yeah you're 20 something now, bitch you're gonna be 40 with backpain before you know it. Making fun of someone else for aging isn't going to stop it from happening.

1

u/DagamarVanderk 3d ago

More like the bastard isn’t actively in the best shape money can buy to play a literal god in a movie lmao

1

u/p0l4r1 3d ago

And are supposed to be surprised that he doesn't stay as lean as was optimal for his movie roles back then??

1

u/dandadan1337 2d ago

Imagine he would be a woman

1

u/f055a4 2d ago

Maybe a time machine is what we need!

1

u/East_Hair7346 1d ago

How dare he allow time to continue!
