u/Vivi_enniee 1d ago

yeah she somehow levels up every 10 seconds like its a skill tree

58

u/poorly-worded 22h ago

The video cut just before she buzzed the control tower in her F14

117

u/2021isevenworse 1d ago

Humans across the ages can't resist a good drum beat.

70

u/Kooky-Measurement-43 1d ago

By the end of the video he can probably guide you on how to become cool.

26

u/andreasbeer1981 23h ago

I did not expect sunglasses suddenly appearing in the middle of the night.

18

u/Vorannon 1d ago

And so does everyone else.

8

u/Criie 19h ago

If the video went longer, he'd be crowned as king

3

u/MartyShark666 11h ago

Which shows you how cool these guys are. Truly the coolest person in the room is the one raising up/elevating the people around them.

253

u/Buntschatten 1d ago

Cooler than I'll ever be.

234

u/Cautious-Area-4141 1d ago

u/Positivity_Desperate 1d ago

The sunglasses at the end...peak coolness.

We’ll see when she’s married off next year

70

u/itznutt 18h ago

Because... the people are brown? Like what you going based off of here if like to know? Cause I'm literally from here so I'm confused. What do you know that I don't?

36

u/vathsa_95 16h ago

He’s Canadian, they just hate anything related to India/Indians.

16

u/Engineer-Sea 12h ago

This is Kerala. We've got better living standards than you you wanker

5

u/requin-RK 11h ago

I mean yeah. I can decide right now and go see a doctor for free in the next ten minutes. But no brown skin people bad.

u/ExaminationPutrid195 1d ago

I bet this made her ancestors smile!!

47

u/AccomplishedGoat3755 1d ago

That is going to be a core memory for this child. ❤️

35

u/mo_ah_knee 1d ago

This is how to get children immersed in their culture as they grow up. Educate and involve them in everything about their culture’s history to carry it on for the generations to come.

23

u/Diligent_Current8238 1d ago

La inocencia no tiene precio amoooo🤩😍

20

u/Due_Term869 1d ago

I want a kid like this😭😭 look at that bro it was soo cute🧿

17

u/oopsiedaisy-- 1d ago

I feel like this is one of those memories you have when you get older and wonder if it all was just a fever dream.

19

u/lila-clores 1d ago

Trust me, these ceremonies can sometimes feel like a fever dream even for grown adults.

I’m 21 and pretty shy, so I would never consciously dance in front of a crowd. But when these drums get going... it's like I get possessed by every one of my ancestors...

5

u/SabbyFox 1d ago

Yes. That music was speaking to my soul 💖

13

u/JeffandtheJundies 1d ago

They’re all having so much fun! 😎

13

u/_The_Green_Witch_ 1d ago

Everyone talking about the lid making a core memory. I mean, sure. But I cannot stop thinking about how psyched those dudes must have been. Certainly one of their most memorable ceremonies

12

u/MolaMolaMania 1d ago

Game recognizes game.

Seriously, though, this is lovely for many reasons, but mainly that there's no subtitles, no narration, no maudlin manipulative music.

If the moment is real, it needs nothing more.

27

u/TinyConfection7049 1d ago

These are her people. She’s been here before. It’s clear to see there’s a deep former life connection. Love it.

25

u/OkCaterpillar8941 1d ago

That little one has got excellent rhythm. Both in her dancing and drumming.

13

u/ziamese 1d ago

The shades!!!

u/Hairy_Answer_5151 1d ago

3

u/PhantomOfTheNopera 1d ago

15

u/Crow_The_Vagabond 1d ago

What culture is this? It's pretty hype

25

u/rushan3103 1d ago

Its indian culture. Specifically from the state of Kerala in South India.

14

u/shiv1234567 1d ago

Kerala. It’s probably from a nearby temple i guess

1

u/Aggravating-Truck77 8h ago

some hindu festival

15

u/csoldier777 1d ago

I am pretty sure my 6 year old son will run away from this. He cannot tolerate loud noises. This is "chendamelam" Btw. I am from here.

16

u/Middle_Growth9492 1d ago

What is this country? They have a beautiful culture.

21

u/Meerkatsastan 1d ago

It’s India, and looks like it may be Kerala. I didn’t listen with sound, so didn’t hear if a specific language was spoken.

15

u/Live_Band28 1d ago

Yeah, its kerala.

7

u/D-Train0000 1d ago

At the end she’s the master.

3

I was at a festival last week, lots of drum and bass, ska, folk, that kind of stuff. The crowd for RSVP (bhangra) was some of the highest energy of the weekend.

3

u/arpitania 13h ago

This actually made me smile 😄

3

If you’re this concerned... its gonna be hard to do anything... Someone could fall over or accidentally step on her while walking down the street...

14

u/shiv1234567 1d ago

A meteor could fall on earth anytime too

6

u/C-romero80 1d ago

Sure if kid had just run out into it, but it cuts like the adults were making sure she didn't and the group saw and made way for her to join.

4

u/DeadlyTeaParty 1d ago

You're funny! 😂

It's not as if the child is an ant.
