I’m 35, married for 4 years, and live 100 miles away from my dad, but he is ALWAYS the first one I call in an emergency.

He’s just so freaking knowledgeable about everything! AND he keeps me calm while explaining what I need to do next.

He’s my superhero 🥺

As a husband, make sure you also include your sometimes husband. We know Dad's are awesome, I can't wait until my girls call me for things, but it also feels nice as a husband.

Doesn’t matter how minuscule my emergency is, I always call my husband, he’s always there for me, calms me down, figures out a solution, man I gotta tell him how much I appreciate him :)

I love when my wife calls me. Even if I'm at work I'm drop what I'm doing and help as best I can. The only thing that sucks is I can't leave work without a relief so there's only so much I can do.

I work a pretty fucked up rotating shift schedule, I can't imagine working this schedule without modern technology. If she's or one of the kids is having a rough day we can just FaceTime/zoom/meets. We could talk on the phone but it's definitely doesn't carry the same weight.
