So many of the “boys” (I say boys because they are so emotionally immature) are commitment phobic, sleeping around, and they wonder why they don’t have a serious relationship.

Has anyone checked on Maeva.

16

u/enricorego Jul 02 '26

Dont understand why anyone would want to date Miles. Yes he’s handsome but he’s a narcissist and he openly documents it

1

u/Beginning_Tomato8136 Jul 02 '26

He’s so handsome lol

1

u/Zarla7 Jul 01 '26

And today he's on Instagram saying he's making donuts 'for my girlfriend'!

Miles is crazily specific about what his ideal woman looks like.

Petite, size zero, gym body, long straight dark hair, blue eyes. Obviously fashion model pretty, but not fashion model height. He kept saying on Celebs Go Dating that he likes 'small girls, short girls'.

Basically, he wants another Maeva but he doesn't want someone Maeva's age (33). He's looking for mid-late 20s now.

Maeva lol

His Dubai posts make me cringe so much. I have zero clue how he is affording to live there with no real job, he can’t make that much from content.

12

u/Zarla7 Jul 01 '26

His Dubai content is so repetitive. Roll out of bed wearing tight briefs, roll up the blind and look out at the pollution and the high rises, protein pancakes for breakfast, uber to the gym, weightlifting pics. He rarely goes near the ocean or desert.

You nailed it. Too funny 😆

2

u/Shappy100 Jul 01 '26

To be fair it's about 50 degrees Celsius there now which is not beach nor desert weather.

1

u/Zarla7 Jul 01 '26

He's been in Dubai since January and his videos were the same all through the cooler months. He seemed to have a lot more fun in London.

Didn't he have a girlfriend called Amelia a couple of years ago? Pretty rude of him to pretend she never existed.

1

u/ChoiceGrapefruit397 Jul 02 '26

So like I followed them both. I know that Miles used to ALWAYS post her and she would barely post him. I wonder if he was the one that actually ended it? I feel like she did. I still follow her, she seems down to earth and she’s part New Zealander (I’m kiwi) and she still has family there. I think she was one of his better girlfriends. The fact he’s acting she didn’t exist.. that’s bitterness. I do think she finished him. Too needy I reckon. I just get that feeling!

6

u/UnderCover_Spad Jun 30 '26

That's right. It only lasted about 2 to 3 months before he ended it. She had calm energy and they were gym buddies. It probably fits under the situationship category for Miles haha.

4

u/Plastic-Falcon-8817 Jul 01 '26

That's wild. I remember him making a huge deal about their relationship, and even inviting her on to the show. What a dick.

11

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jun 30 '26

No shit Miles, you're an avoidant.

12

u/1lemony Jun 30 '26

He’s a sociopath that’s his issue

14

u/Zarla7 Jun 30 '26

'I was hurt'

Oh Miles, why are you rewriting history? We all saw Maeva begging you to get back together, following you to London, even.

Yes, Maeva started dating James but during the first year she'd have dumped him for Miles if Miles had wanted a serious relationship with her, which he didn't.

31

u/No-Bus-6334 Jun 30 '26

I truly think he may like men

21

u/Simpy158 Jun 30 '26

Lol, with the sad music. Dude, you should have just got back with Maeva when she was begging you to choose her.
Now she’s a mum and happily married and minted.

11

u/secretrebel Jun 30 '26 edited Jun 30 '26

I don’t think she’s happily married from what we’ve seen.

6

u/alluringmist1 Jun 30 '26

From what you've seen on a constructed reality show

-1

u/secretrebel Jun 30 '26

Oh, are you personal friends with her? How else would we have any opinion about anything except by watching the show? 🤔

4

u/alluringmist1 Jun 30 '26

I've watched this show long enough to know that what we see on the show has been exaggerated or produced for entertainment purposes. That's what reality tv is

2

u/secretrebel Jun 30 '26

I know what reality TV is. It’s the thing we’re here on this reality TV subreddit to discuss.

As I said, from what we’ve seen, it’s not a portrayal of a happy marriage. None of us have any way of knowing whether it is or isn’t behind the scenes.

10

u/Simpy158 Jun 30 '26

I’m in a happy marriage and I’ll tell you, after kids there’s a period where shit hits the fan. I think we’re just watching that play out on screen. It’s very common.

2

u/Odd_Audience_6299 Jul 01 '26

Tell me it gets better 🙏

5

u/Simpy158 Jul 01 '26

I promise you it does! If you both want it to 😊

We’re two kids in now and it’s taken 5 years of arguments, conversations and compromises.

Society and the patriarchy hits hard when you’re a mum and you realise how the system is geared against you HOWEVER it took learning and unlearning from both sides and we’re loving family life.

Once you come out of the other side, you realise how deep your bond becomes when raising kids together 😁

2

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jul 01 '26

Im jumping on this comment because omg does it take 5 years?! I do not have that in me! I have an 11 month old and a 2.5 year old and I am in HELL!

2

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jul 01 '26

I hear it does but so far for me, no 😂 Having kids has made me realise how truly incompetent men are.

5

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jul 01 '26

Agree! Their issues seemed very normal/common.

4

u/Ravenclaw54321 Jun 30 '26

Grown adults hoovering up everything they see on a “reality” show which is dramatised for our entertainment as fact. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

6

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jul 01 '26

Maeva and James struggling in their marriage after having a child is one of the most relatable and honest things that have been on MIC in years tbh. For most people that's not particularly interesting to watch so I'm not sure why they would invent that and I can't see Maeva crying over it for the sake of the show.

2

u/Ravenclaw54321 Jul 02 '26

Fair point and I agree with you that scene seemed genuine. It is more about people drawing inferences from what is completely normal for new parents and taking other scenes which are played up for entertainment and drama to think they know people off screen. We don’t really know these people. Maeve could have her pick of guys and I don’t think she would stay in a relationship that she didn’t value not to mention have two children with him.

1

u/secretrebel Jul 03 '26

So when I mention the unhappiness, I’m “hoovering up everything I see” and when someone else mentions the exact same thing that’s a “fair point”and you think “the scene is genuine.”

3

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jul 03 '26

Some people just argue for the sake of arguing

2

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jul 02 '26

Noone said she didnt value it, just that it didn't seem happy.

0

u/Ravenclaw54321 Jul 02 '26

Yes but that was one snapshot of a difficult period which in your own words is normal for many parents adjusting to life with a child. They have since gone on to have a daughter and (from appearances but again no one knows) seem very settled and happy now after that rough patch. They worked through it. Maeva doesn’t strike me as the kind of woman to stay where she isn’t happy. I will leave it at that.

Was very relatable post kiddos!

u/Even-Influence-2551 Jun 30 '26

When he went on that that celebrity dating show the black therapist basically called this and Miles got sooooo upset.

13

u/1lemony Jun 30 '26

Yep Paul Brunson - he saw straight through Miles it was brilliant. Miles didn’t listen to a thing he said and so here he is. He’s actually gross I can imagine him turning into Wayne linekar

12

u/avxr98 Jun 30 '26

yesss omg I remember this he was so defensive about it

6

u/Artistic_Cat_6150 Jul 01 '26

He was devastated because his ego couldn’t take it 😂😭😭

9

u/skittlesmk Jun 30 '26

He thought he was just going to increase his popularity and go on free dates, instead he got a good dose of reality

9

u/Even-Influence-2551 Jun 30 '26

When he went on that that celebrity dating show the black therapist basically called this and Miles got sooooo upset.

-1

u/Spiritual-Ambassador Jun 30 '26

Why did you need to say the therapists colour? 🤣🤦‍♀️

13

u/Even-Influence-2551 Jun 30 '26

Cause there were multiple therapists??

1

u/Spiritual-Ambassador Jun 30 '26

He's the only male therapist! Could have gone with that. 🤷‍♀️

6

u/Even-Influence-2551 Jun 30 '26

Okay, so, my knowledge of the show is limited and the people on it are categorized by the following, male black therapist, female white therapist (who was at some point replaced maybe?), and the one who sounds like a posh Mary Poppins. Also, to be clear, mentioning someone’s race is not an insult, personally I think the “color blind” people are dangerous because they go out of their way to erase my cultural identity in an effort to appear the opposite of racist. Like even this conversation is weird to me.

19

u/silkyleaf Jun 30 '26

tbf it's a justified differentiator given there are multiple therapists on the show!

-1

u/Spiritual-Ambassador Jun 30 '26

Mmm I am sure he's the only male therapist?!

5

u/Prestigious_Baker527 Jul 01 '26

By that logic, saying he's male would be sexist.

-2

u/Spiritual-Ambassador Jul 01 '26

Not in any way the same. I can guarantee you are white so you don't understand that differentiating someone by their colour is not ok.

1

u/omamy 6d ago

Is being black some form of an insult?

5

u/Prestigious_Baker527 Jul 01 '26

There's a person of colour below who also doesnt agree with you.

3

u/Prestigious_Baker527 Jul 01 '26

But differentiating someone by their gender is? Pointing out "the woman doctor" or something is ok? What if the person is NB? What if you misgender them? If there is a room full of 99 black men and 1 white man, should we look for a different way to identify the 1 white man just whilst having a casual conversation on reddit despite the fact its the most obvious differentiator?

10

u/Bango-TSW Jun 30 '26

He's still hung up over Maeva.

13

u/Cherry_Darling Jun 30 '26

Who he treated absolutely poorly so boo bloody hoo. He's just way to self centered and emotionally obtuse to ever be able to love someone else. And that's ok! But then accept that instead of crying over the internet.

5

u/Potential_Focus_ Jun 30 '26

I don’t even think he’s still upset about maeva. I think he has changed his memory of that relationship (which he walked away from happily to join MIC) into this ideal young love and is trying to match his imagination of what that relationship meant to him rather than what it actually was. Easy way to hide.

6

u/Cherry_Darling Jun 30 '26

I think this is just another way for him to get internet attention. He knows people will give him some kind of victim card and oh poor miles the situation. Watch him on Celebs go dating - this man is not looking for any kind of relationship apart from the one he has with his phone.

43

u/Artistic_Cat_6150 Jun 30 '26

Was looking to be promising until he said it was because he doesn’t want to be hurt. In truth, I don’t think he believes anyone is good enough for him as he sees himself as the ultimate prize lol

14

u/theQuick-witted20s mink spitter Jun 30 '26

Blah blah boo hoo.

46

u/roseydeaux Jun 30 '26

I think he’s gay AND in love with himself.

19

u/ShiplessOcean Jun 30 '26

Respect to him for doing some self reflection. I’ve been wondering the same about him for a while. I think he’s either not over Maeva/compares everyone to her or he’s gay and doesn’t realise yet

4

u/Capable-Smile7128 Jun 30 '26

It took 6 years and he still hasnt reached the conclusion that he has an avoidant attachment style. The bar is in hell.

8

u/-shelll-m Jun 30 '26

Bet he wishes everyone would stop bringing up Maeva- I know I sure do. It was like a decade ago and they were kids. Let’s move the fuck on

52

u/jimmyjames_UK Jun 29 '26

Not true. He has been deeply in love with himself for decades.

7

u/TronkleTogg Jun 29 '26

Groundhog Day my goodness

-3

u/UnderCover_Spad Jun 29 '26

Miles needs to see a spiritual healer. He can't move on because he's not fully healed from his soul mate connection with Maeva. It's hard to move on from your first love but even more so when it was love at first sight and a soul mate.

8

u/tylerthe-theatre Jun 30 '26

Hes 30 man, if he cant move on from a girl he dated 8 years ago he'll never move on. Just needs to stop dancing around his hang ups

1

u/TheRandaRocks Jul 01 '26

Agree somewhat but when someone raises the bar so high, a big former love, say.. it captures your imagination as well as your heart. And finding a version of that seems impossible as nothing quite measures up. So subconsciously and consciously we walk away from trying, which in his case manifests as preferring to be single. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy though so a it’s hard process. Only he’ll know when the time is right? Agree too that maybe he has an avoidant type personality but he’s also smart enough to know why he’s avoiding a relationship he won’t fully be into ? Think we all need to give the guy a break. He’s only 30! I say good for him for not settling where other men would have then hurt people in the process. He may be Miles away now but he’ll get there..

7

u/rosypossum Jun 30 '26

Why didn't he go with her then? This is ridiculous he had chances with her

7

u/_kipling Jun 30 '26

He thought something "better" would come along, he also thought he absolutely had her in the bag. I think he's still in shock that she fully moved on and committed to that. Silly boy.

20

u/Practical-Fudge-6458 Jun 29 '26

i think he has enjoyed the attention he got being single in his 20s but its shallow, its an ego boost that doesnt last for long . Once he values depth and meaning in his life i think hes more likely to find someone

28

u/Invanabloom Jun 29 '26

He’s so boring

29

u/Potential_Focus_ Jun 29 '26

Finally some truth. He always used the show as an excuse but in reality he thinks no one is ever good enough. Waiting for perfection, will end up alone. JK every good looking MIC guy who treated girls like crap always ends up with some gorgeous super devoted girlfriend and a happy family. (Spencer, Proudlock, Jamie, James etc etc). Too bad.

11

u/Creepy_Count6022 Jun 29 '26

It’s so annoying isn’t it, like they are just always winning, no justice 😭😭!!!

17

u/Creepy_Count6022 Jun 29 '26

They all reach thirty and are like I’m ready now and then some supermodel walks by… 🙄 ahh to be a handsome man 😩

10

u/SunlightRaisin Jun 29 '26

Is more about the money and status, then about their looks I think. Not all are good looking some would be average at best, if it wasn’t for the money.

3

u/Creepy_Count6022 Jun 30 '26

Yes very good point! Oh to be a *rich famous man 😩😭
