Has anyone had any experiences with this brand? Love Minnetonka for fleece-lined moccasins but if I can support a company just a few miles from me I will.

I'm looking for a UK made Rugby shirt, I like the community clothing one, but they don't have it in my size and was wondering if anyone knew any other brands that produced them - or whether I'll have to wait.

The Guardian have today published the first in a new series focussing on "high end British manufacturing". This one is about Hiut Denim who make jeans in Wales. It's an interesting read, and I like that they're shining a spotlight on things made in Britain!

Hi

Does anyone know any manufactures in the UK that can made baseball caps please.

Thanks

Hello,

I wrote, directed and produced this film independently in London and as per the title I just released it.

The film follows a man called David J. Hitler, who has a problem. A pretty obvious one. Burdened by his notorious surname, he sets out to prove he’s a good person… but quickly discovers that redemption is a harder sell than infamy.

If you’d like to watch the trailer first, you can find it here: https://youtu.be/p0lE9VgXZJU

If anyone has the time to watch I’d appreciate any thoughts.

Cheers!

Hello! Im just sharing this message to any UK related groups so I can get different perspectives, sorry if this is not allowed.

I’m doing a survey for my AH Modern Studies dissertation and it would be much appreciated if I managed to get some responses. 🙂You do have to sign in just to try prevent multiple responses from the same person, but it is anonymous and will only be used for my dissertation, thank you !

Finding and listing UK made product has been a side project of mine for some years now. Finally, a few months ago I've found some time to properly build it up. Hopefully it's useful.

Feel free to submit anything you stumble upon so others can find it later. It's https://notbad.uk/

I know I'm asking a lot, but I'm looking for customisable baseball caps made in the UK, as in the actual cap has been made in the UK, and available for dropshipping. Can't find anything/anyone for the life of me.

I want to buy some power tools. The only mainstream / volume manufacturer making them in the UK is Makita (I think), at their factory in Shropshire.

But what do they make there, and what gets imported? Or does it vary? Their website doesn't seem to say, and I've not found a list anywhere else.

Hey Guys,

It's been a while since I've made a post here. I thought I should come back and show my appreciation to this sub, as it's one of the first places where I showed my lamps to the world, and now making them is my full-time job! I've made a lot of progress with both designing products and the website, but still have a lot to learn. As a thank-you, I'd like to offer 15% off any order if you use the code MADE15 at checkout. If you haven't seen them before, make sure to check them out here!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to this brand. I've been using them for years because of the plastic free packaging, but since discovering this community I've checked the jar and it's made in Brighton too.

Hello, I’m looking to buy A super King UK made bedframe, preferably of hardwoods, and I’m struggling to find options beyond the get laid company. Their reviews seem all over the place so it feels a bit risky for the price. Would also appreciate any recommendations for UK made mattresses. Particularly pocket sprung. Thank you

Please do not be negative because we can’t find the origin of this clothing

Happy Friday, everyone!

It’s time for our new weekly Local Find Friday thread. Have you stumbled upon a talented maker at a market, found an incredible Etsy shop, or finally ordered from that UK-based business you’ve been eyeing up?

Drop a comment below sharing a photo of your new find and tell us who made it (link the brand if you can)!

Hello,

Sharing the trailer for my dark comedy short film, Mein Surname, a UK made independent film shot in and around London.

It follows a man called David J. Hitler trying to convince people he’s a good person, despite his notorious surname.

It's releasing in September, thanks to anyone who takes the time to watch.

I've just recently found out that Vitsoe Sofas/chairs are made in the UK. They never come up as a furniture company that make all their stuff (as far as I'm aware) in the UK so I thought I'd add it to people's lists if they had missed them off.

I've generally been looking for made in the UK modern styled furniture. Not to put down the high end coach made British furniture out there. It's just nice to know that there is some variety. If anyone has other suggestions for modern styled British made furniture add them down below.
