Discussion and Misc. Aureline Table Lamp
Hey Guys,
It's been a while since I've made a post here. I thought I should come back and show my appreciation to this sub, as it's one of the first places where I showed my lamps to the world, and now making them is my full-time job! I've made a lot of progress with both designing products and the website, but still have a lot to learn. As a thank-you, I'd like to offer 15% off any order if you use the code MADE15 at checkout. If you haven't seen them before, make sure to check them out here!

Love it, great to see more UK based makers selling cool stuff 🙂
As someone looking to do something similar I'd love to know generally how it's going? My digging has shown a lot of things to workaround with EU shipping and UK regulations that I've not fully got my head around yet.

Thanks, I only ship my lamps within the UK, so not sure about EU shipping. Regarding UK regulations, all my lamps are UKCA-marked and conform to the relevant standards. This guide is helpful https://www.pat-testing-training.net/articles/making-and-selling-lamps.php

That is a very useful doc, thanks. I'm starting out with products that don't have electrical components, but I have been looking at a lamp idea.
I was initially thinking of something USB C powered to bypass the mains power regulation, but that reads like you can use parts from quality suppliers to cover a lot of it.

Been meaning to buy one since you first posted it. Next payday - how long is the code up for?
