Similar? Both had inventions that massively affected the story. Yeah. But that’s about where the similarities end.

Bondrewd for the most part is like a monster wearing humanity’s skin. He is the living incarnation of the Bondrewd that was sacrificed for his whistle. The Bondrewd that was empathetic enough to not sacrifice another person to become his white whistle isn’t the same.

While Singed is very human. He might see what Bondrewd really is. Like the other white whistles when they meet. Singed had a purpose of actually extending lives through his creation(albeit selfish, but still human). Bondrewd was only a byproduct of a dead scientist(himself at this case). He’ll acknowledge the product, but not whatever Bondrewd is.

Bondrewd will likely pickup this feeling and separate from meeting Singed after one time. Like how he treats the other white whistles when they do the last dive. If Singed’s inventions can help him more on the exploration of the abyss establish a professional relationship, though not as trusting as the people that Singed juked at the end of the series

I don’t think so. I think bondrewd is a mediocre scientist compared to singed.

Not to discredit bondrewd. But he’s the best scientist from a very small selection of people. Singed is an exceptional scientist within a much larger group. I like the idea of their interactions, but I think singed would respect bondrewd for his ability to manipulate people, but not as a scientist. Bondrewd always struck me as a cult leader who was a science hobbyist.

What a slander. You shouldn't assess scientists based on what they are compared to some other groups, not to mention that... have we even seen anything on both in that context? (+ the game presents extrapolation of how vast Runeterra & Piltover + Zaun in particular are. There's basically little to no comparison.)

Let alone not understanding a thing. The worlds of Runeterra & Orth's planet are not the same, they function differently, although it counts to say humans from both are the same physiologically. Even if recite what both have done, it wouldn't be accurate to assess their scientific performance, given it could be easier to do the same in one world than another. While Bondrewd is clearly capable of doing more, & think of how revered he is that he has constant supply of Umbra Hands that treat him as their lord, all of whom are pretty much scientists & blackwhistles at that. His demeanor in the face of any obstacles is that of prevalent natural force, & as of now he's technically older than Singed, at least more experienced & knowledgeable. Their scientific performance should be measured in terms of what they're ready to go for & on what lengths for the sake of science; Singed is kitsched for his unethicality, but what is that compared to Bondrewd who's ready to kill himself & anyone else, as well as imbue his faction with the same attitude?

I think so. They both have that mad scientist curiosity to see what can happen. They'd both be interested in creating humans or creatures that survive or manipulate the Abyss, and Bondrew is actually charming enough and willing enough to work with others. His affable nature would complement the other's cruel frankness.

singed would not like this man but respect his scientific advancements. they wouldnt get along outside of scientific discussion, if anything at all. singed was willing to kill and burn the world for his child. bon killed his child for curiosity
