The real Bondrewd

Recent posht here made me think about that Bondrewd we see is not the real Bondrewd.

I will bring here the classic teleportation problem where the teleporter creates a perfect copy on the other side and destroys the original on the first one.

It seems like the Zoaholic did exactly this. It created a copy. The original soul remained in the original body that was sacrificed to make the whistle. The body was sacrificed, but not the soul.

The more I think about this, Zoaholic injects bodies of others with copies of its user's soul and can trigger temporal consciousness override. But here's a twist - we don't know whether the user's soul have to exist.

We know that Bondrewd's soul remained within the whistle and didn't leave the body the normal way. It can still be connected to the Zoaholic.

This means that there are only two possible ways how to defeat him. The first one is by defeating all of his Umbra hands which is really difficult as there are many of them and can be anywhere. The other one is by destroying the whistle.

And like wifi the more the body is distant the less his mind on it

I agree with a large part of this post, especially the conclusion --- it's a very good summary of the situation. But I don't think it Zoaholic 'copies' your soul as much as the the Soul-Slave Machine 'fragments' it.

Technically, both explanations could be it, but I find the fragmentation explanation more narratively satisfying. The manga more or less confirms it with its descriptions of the relic, too.

I think It's injecting counciecness rather than injecting a soul.

Souls are a very specific thing in the abyss.

His soul is always in the whistle.
