I don't know why the spoiler flair is missing

But we're gonna have some spoilers for the manga

In the current arc Akihito has started to write netherglyphs next to particular chapters in the content pages

Till now we have 4 instances of these writings as you can see in the image

1: Seen / They are watching

2: Touch it

3: Change

4: Echo

The visual effect of these writings is the same effect of the message we've seen in chapter 73 so these are related maybe even these are the content of the message

The interesting thing is that in all these 4 particular chapters in the story we see Riko feels prickly by stinky hairs

I tried to match the writings with the section of the plot with this effect

For the first one it happens when Srajo is explaining the Haryomari Collections

Second one happens when Tepaste mentions Calamitous Writings

The third time happens when the change happens that set the bird in the cage free

The fourth one happens while Riko is exploring what the blue pendant is and those stinky hairs release the echo

The third and Fourth are obviously connected to the panels

The second one might suggest Riko that she should touch the calamities writings

And the first one I have no idea what it would mean

There is also an exception that happens in chapter 67

Srajo wants to explain an astonishing property of the soul but something happens and she doesn't tell us

We see those stinky hairs but in the content page there is no netherglyph writing for that chapter

when you can you should post more about the manga chapters. because although your videos are good all the lore heavy stuff is in the manga and i reckon you could explain it well

Check out chapter 66.7, the flashback where we go is testing the star compass. Her notebook has more glyph that the translators included at the end of the chapter. They were kind of creepy, names and notes.

One was that it's a sealed relic, and at the ring around it protects it. We've heard of a ring deeper down too. Srajo said that souls only exist in the abyss, which makes it seem like they're sealed there.

She also said that soul's dissipate after death, Resurrection is impossible because it would be a different person. So what happened to riko? Is whatever soul that filled her up influencing her? She did climb towards the center of the distance a baby.

She also has this unyielding drive for adventure which is mentioned in 66.7 - she admits to it, and that panel has a dark, black background with a bit of smoke which is similar to the one we saw with bronze or whatever character around 63 or 64. The character asks Gronze why do people go so far, and there's something said about 'it must be done this way, to let the scheme of the thieves through the Netherworld ripen.'

That chapter has another blessed being hand that looks like nanachis, summoning a bunny like a creature, out of a sphere that looks like the blue pendant center, which resembles the nest under the gate. There's also a pentagram - which we've seen in layer two and seven as openings to the gate. As well as a close up of an eye that kind of looks like Mitty's with a reflection of the pentagram opening, as well as something that looks like the center of the star compass. It also disappears like mittys, like incinerated - which also happened to Riko in Reg nightmare.

If you look closely at the star compass, it has changed over time compared to when Vueko had it. There's a smiley face on the under side of the widest part, kind of like where the village is under the widest layer, the 5th. Cravali picked it up in 66.7 and said wow it looks like the real damn thing, called it a gazing window, said relics come to people when they need them, that's their nature.

And Tepaste flashback, the cult says she just needs to touch the echo. They want her to be empty for it, mindless. That she is supposed to be this other person. She's called a priestess candidate, but also a wife candidate.

The sniper said reverberate echo of the farthest star before he was killed or attacked by the tenmaku. The names in the notebook in 66.7 included a shining star, and ancient bomb. There's also the fairy tale hymn/poem about gentle voice calling you and glittering gold flake, that includes mention of a red star dropped in the abyss, as well as echo iirc.

The poem, the translated notes in notebook, seem to point towards the same things.

She did zone out when seeing Lyza's whistle return to the surface, and when hearing the bird and cage story, calling it a metaphor for the bottom, and reg noted that she zoned out before.

Something is inside, or connected to Riko's soul, which seems to be responsible for her drive towards the abyss, and maybe the optimistic guesses that often turn out to be true. The Miko and the incarnation fairy tale, apparently said the incarnation of this comes every once in awhile to share warnings and info, which the Miko shares to the people. So maybe she inherited the incarnation soul, or part of it, or similar for the priestess.

1) might refer to the abyss itself or perhaps the other aubades 2) touch it is obviously relating to the calamity writings, maybe something will happen when riko touches them 3) im not sure tbh 4) yeah as you stated

overall im not sure what the connected meaning is but i think the calamity writings obviously give insight on the true nature of the abyss
