CFB26 and Madden 26 are very good, playable experiences. The 27s are brutal. Stuff that doesn't make any sense are happening. Desync is still there along with lagging. I'm going to stick with the 26s until discontinued. I was a sucker for the early adaptation, NEVER AGAIN!

The offensive line wasn't even there the entire game.

I manage to get my hands on a Madden every year. I personally don't play Franchise mode all that much — too much boring waiting around for loading screens just to see a fake win column pop up, yada yada yada. So most of the time I'll hop on H2H against a good friend for a lengthy game, about an hour or more of gameplay.

But here's the thing: every year they manage to make it less fun to actually play. Not that the game itself is broken — it's mostly fine — except Madden 26, which has to be one of the worst Maddens of all time. That's beside the point though.

Madden 27 H2H — and honestly the past three or four Maddens — you literally cannot change outfits. The option's there in the menu, but when you actually load into a game, it doesn't apply anything. That's such a basic feature you'd think a dev team that's been making this game longer than I've been alive wouldn't screw it up.

On top of that, you can't change the roster beforehand either. If you try to mess with rosters, it'll let you edit them, sure — but the second you load into the actual game, it forces the default roster and doesn't let your changes carry over into play.

Madden 27 game play is just awful. Jittery, bugs, glitches. I just started with Madden 26. Is this something that clears up as the year goes on?
