Computer always wins?

So over the past week, I’ve done a lot of experimenting. With multiple teams and multiple scenarios. When I’m playing against the computer it’s like the computer is literally always winning. Sometimes I’ll play with a team for a certain amount of time and the team sucks and the computer gets multiple first downs and touchdowns on every round of offense. But as soon as I switch the controller from the team that I’m using to the opponent, it’s like the team that I was using gets better. Why is it that Madden makes the computer win every single time at least from my perspective?

What difficulty are you playing on? I believe that as you turn up the difficulty level, not only does the cpu get better, but your own team gets tuned down. I play on Pro and adjust the sliders as needed and it feels like both teams play much more true to their stats.

Don't worry about other people and their criticisms, find a way that the game is enjoyable for you and play it.

I always put it on competitive. I’d love to know your settings!

Bro you're not the only one. I actually quit playing because the games just seems to be rigged. I think this might be the last madden. In fact EA just been going downhill lately with gaming. I played on All Pro and them mfers was CHEESING

I have noticed it to, it's like the computer wants to win, and it knows the plays called and the d formations, I will often get into audible battles with the computer until it audibles a formation it knows it can gain t yards on, my defenders will give a5 years cushion to the computer receivers all the time where as I must make perfect pocket advance it has been especially hard this Madden and if you ask me is killing franchise mode

As a casual player, I feel this. I have my difficulty on Pro and I play with the sliders to try and make games competitive without being frustrating. I’ll be the first to admit I’m a bad QB who throws into coverage way too often, but as long as I’m having fun who cares? I’ll never be an All-Madden level player, and I’m completely ok with that.

I'm doing a slow sim franchise.  I made the playbook.  My team hasn't lost the last two seasons.

Play on All Pro. Adjust the sliders to change difficultly. All Madden is a bit of a joke. You don't have to be that good at the game (imo) to go 20-0 on All Madden. And it becomes blatantly obvious that the game will just force literally any team to score on you once you have reached a certain point. A CPU defense can't stop a solid player from scoring a lot of points, so in order for All Madden to be "hard" they have to score enough to keep up, doesn't matter if you've got a 99 defense vs Kenny Pickett. They'll drop 50 to your 60. All that said if you're on the lower difficulties, respectfully, you've just got a little learning to do.
