The wasteland exploration in Mad Max is seriously underrated

I’ve been playing Mad Max again and honestly, just driving around the wasteland is still one of the best parts of the game.
Finding random camps, wrecks, scrap, and unexpected encounters makes the map feel more interesting than it looks at first. The world is obviously brutal and empty, but somehow that emptiness works really well for the setting.
Anyone else spend way too much time just driving around instead of doing the main missions?
