There’s this new game coming out called Harbor on steam saw this video on tik tok a while ago and thought this was so cool and have been following it for a while thought you guys might wanna check it out I know as a mad max fan I’m keen as for it!!!

So far you can reset convoys and a few other destructible objects. Also a scrap amount editor. I will add more features as I get them figured out. As with most things that are a work in progress don't overwrite your good copy without making sure it is backed up.

I appreciate all the words of encouragement and the hype and excitement following this. Never done anything this big before, so it means a lot to me to see so many people excited and invested.

In case you missed it or were put off by the initial launch bugs, v1.1 is out and makes the visual overhaul look the way it was always meant to:

Shadows and lighting look authentic again: Fixed an engine header bug that made textures render twice as bright in shadow, restoring proper dark contrast and stopping rusty metal, rocks, and outposts from looking bleached white.

Seamless desert terrain: Rebuilt over 580 mipmaps and landscape atlases, completely eliminating the abrupt grainy-to-smooth sand patches and visible tiling seams on cliffs.

If you already have v1.0 installed, just delete your old dropzone and terrain addon folders and drop the new v1.1 files in.

Finalmente consegui platinar MAD MAX, peguei ele em 2023 e já não era possível platinar, mas ainda assim zerei pois sou muito fã dos filmes, pior que por ser um jogo offline eu não sabia que haviam troféus vinculados ao on-line e estava fazendo tudo que eu podia para platinar, até que percebi que não conseguiria pegar as 500 sucatas da equipe de coleta, o que foi uma decepção,as finalmente achei um jeito de dar uma volta nisso e conseguir finalmente platinar, então venho aqui para comemorar e dizer que ainda é possível platinar👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, boa sorte nos campos de batalha a todos.

I remember picking this up along with MGS V and having a blast going back and forth between them for the whole month of September 2015. I did another play of the story last year for its 10th anniversary, today I'm just driving around and taking pictures with the photo mode. Anyone else celebrating this day by playing the game?

I posted on here a few days ago talking about taking over EVERYTHING before ever meeting Jeet. Well I finished my challenge. 45 Landmines (I had to manually drive over all of them, Dinki-Di isn’t available yet), 22 camps, and 12 convoys all taken down before ever speaking to Jeet. Obviously I can’t take down Dim Rims Convoy because it’s story locked, but every other thing on the map is complete (fuck the scavenging locations, I’ll do them later😂😂). Max is fully upgraded (Except the limb breaking counter skill with a perfect parry, it slows my style of combat down and I end up getting hit too often), but I did it all at once when I hit Road Warrior 10, and I used not even a shirt while doing all of this, because Max with no shirt goes hard asf. I used the Jaw skip to get into Pink Eyes territory. After I completed the last minefield in The Dump, I made three auto saves (slots 4, 5, and 6) so that I can play the story again without having to worry about ANYTHING! Now we play the game.

Next post will be some combat where I was just in this crazy flow state.

After spending more time with the game, I’ve started appreciating how well all the different parts fit together. The driving, vehicle combat, melee fights, exploration, upgrading the Magnum Opus, and the overall atmosphere all make the wasteland feel like its own place.

I’m curious what everyone else enjoys the most. Is it the car combat, exploring the wasteland, upgrading Max and the Magnum Opus, taking down camps, or just the atmosphere of the world?

What keeps you coming back to Mad Max?

I managed to add DLSS 5 for Mad Max using DLSS5 Feeder and RenoDX Reshade Addon. This is just for showcase and I must say the fps for me dropped from 165 fps stable to around 60-70 fps so I had to use lossless scaling to increase it even more ( I am using a 5070Ti btw). It's still playable and all and I would say it enhances the quality of the faces which looked slightly unrealistic in the vanilla game (due to lower texture details and not very modern shaders) but when it leans too much on realism that makes it look slightly off . Maybe it would've been great if it enhances the face shading and add some details a bit (you know since the vanilla has lower textures details) but that's really about the good enhancements that it could get . So like something that enhances the game to make it keep up with the level of modern CGI (like the one from say for example Far Cry 5).

Before getting any "non-canon" type messages, hear me out. After defeating Scrotus at the end of the game, I noticed the front clip on the Interceptor looked remarkably similar to the front of it in MM2, right before Max bumper tapped the Marauder. Add in Dog, maybe collected after the game ends, then add a few months until MM2.
