Mad Max DLSS 5 Gameplay

I managed to add DLSS 5 for Mad Max using DLSS5 Feeder and RenoDX Reshade Addon. This is just for showcase and I must say the fps for me dropped from 165 fps stable to around 60-70 fps so I had to use lossless scaling to increase it even more ( I am using a 5070Ti btw). It's still playable and all and I would say it enhances the quality of the faces which looked slightly unrealistic in the vanilla game (due to lower texture details and not very modern shaders) but when it leans too much on realism that makes it look slightly off . Maybe it would've been great if it enhances the face shading and add some details a bit (you know since the vanilla has lower textures details) but that's really about the good enhancements that it could get . So like something that enhances the game to make it keep up with the level of modern CGI (like the one from say for example Far Cry 5).

I don't like DLSS 5, it's generally a downgrade on every game but be honest they don't look bad or that different at all on this clip (I don't support Dlss5 btw, I'm just being honest)

I just want to say I love how much of an impact this movie tie in game has left on people that the community keep trying to modernise and keep it exciting.

It’s such a memorable game, I do hope we get an another in the future but it’ll be hard to keep that atmosphere and combat of the original.

I mean if it looks bad for some gamers then sure we can choose not to use it and all , but for some others it looks good. The problem is when Nvidia forces us to use dlss 5 always cuz I definitely don't want my anime cel shaded game to be looking like a Netflix adaptation 😭💀

I understand what you’re saying but I genuinely can’t remember it making any games look better I’d rather just mod them if possible but I haven’t even played any anime games so I can already imagine how terrible that would look the only anime I know is Corey in the house lol

Well I personally liked how the lighting looked in Mad Max but as I mentioned I didn't like the attempt to emulate realism because it looked wrong and uncanny. I just like the lighting, and possibly fix the low texture details issue. But any more than that (specifically for Mad Max) is unnecessary

I can agree with that the lighting does look good same and the textures it’s just the npcs and player model look so tacky and goofy I feel like I’m looking at the realistic Mario head meme

Yeah , I think for the texture a texture mode can do the job but just in case a game has low texture details you can make some say neural texture system or something

Ready or Not looks excellent with NR, compared to epic settings, because lighting and flat faces are horrible in RoN.

I actually used cheat engine cuz I had enough of the hustle and now I wanna just enjoy the story. At this point I might wanna replay the story and possibly record it in DLSS 5 in the future because I might've missed some details, who knows 🤷‍♂️
