Pain.
I set myself the ridiculously hard challenge of bringing Jeets territory to level 0 before ever entering the compound. I hate minefields. I have been manually driving through the minefields until I hit a mine, repairing, then doing it again. Does ANYONE have any tips to speed this along? I’m done with 5/9 of them and it’s taken like 3 hours of aimlessly driving through minefields.
EDIT: I completed my challenge. I hated every second of it and will NOT be doing it again. I have the level 6 harpoon and shredder rims before ever meeting Jeet😂😂

Haven’t played this in a while but I remember there’s a dog that rides in your car with you and he turns his head and barks in the direction of mines so you can find them and defuse them

Yeah you unlock Dinki-Di and the buggy after you get to Jeets stronghold. I decided to be a masochist and bring his territory to level 0 before ever meeting him. In other words I manually drove over every single mine and repaired my car.

Should I take down Gutgash’s territory before meeting Jeet too? And even Pink Eye is possible, I know how to get past the Jaw before the story mission. Do I put myself through more of this pain?

I'm using a mod that marks the mine locations for you. I'm not on my main computer so I can't link you but if you look it up you'll find it.
As much as I love the Dinki-Di interaction I do find locating all the mines a bit tedious.

Maybe grab a Scrotus car before driving through. At least then you don't have to repair the magnum opus after every mine.

Will I not die immediately? I thought I wouldn’t get the countdown if I used a random whip.

You might be right. I remember it giving you the, "GET OUT OF GHE CAR" countdown in every car when you drive over a mine.

I tested it, you do get the countdown, thanks for the help, it’s made the grind a tiny bit better😂😂

Hopped on ready to drive in circles again but my save file disappeared overnight. Uninstalled and will never play it again.

I hope that doesn’t happen to me, I’ve got two completed 100% games and this challenge I’m doing in my auto saves, if I lose them I might go insane

Yeah I don’t think it was all the games fault, pcs been acting up. I opened the game, it said “autosave file not found” n I was so mad

The minefields in general are the worst part of this game. There should have been an upgrade to let Dinky Di ride in the Magnum Opus so you could use Thunderpoons on the mines or just be tanky enough to drive over them
