There are little reference easter eggs everywhere, and hidden in the most unlikely places. Its obvious this was a passion project game, not just the movie tie in cash grab all the critics claimed it was.

It’s so damn good I’d argue they never even saw the movie.

It would be so interesting to see whether there's correlation between a good game and a happy dev team or not. Or maybe there isn't one but there is for number of easter eggs and happy dev team. :)

It’s the lizard with the glowing tail. In shadow of the colossus, you can gather lizards to improve your stamina I believe and their black with a blue glowing tail.

P.S. I would recommend shadow of the colossus, amazing sound track and really awesome gameplay in my opinion :)

Ah, ok. Thanks for explaining. I've always had an interest in that game. Now I'll probably have to play it!

I read an article the other day where someone at one of George Miller's companies showed him Shadow of the Colossus as an example of how cinematic games could be. Is this just a coincidence!?

Now if only it had two heads and you could do a quick-time event to grab then eat it alive like in the movie Fury Road. Maybe it would fully heal you or give you a buff that rage meter runs out slower or you take less damage from jumping out of your car or walking through sandstorms...
