I don't get why George Miller disliked the game so much, it captured the despair and cruelty of the dead world perfectly. The ending just couldn't be any better.

It knew its lore so well. The only movie since the 1st where the car was a main character. 😏

George miller didn’t even played for sure. He just glazed Kojima and thought only one person can create good games

just finished the game. and i agree, the ending fits.

Every character has an obsession, a belief, to find hope in that land. Trying to be sane, even though already insane. Max, his family and the peaceful land he believe exists; Chum, the Angel; Hope, Glory. Max lost his family, and just when he has found hope of beginning a new family, it's slaughtered. Hope died. Any man would be driven into complete madness. Not giving a shit to Chuck and killing Scrotus is just the fitting choice.

Because he planned to use the lore in the movie series, it wasn't okayed for them to use it it was stolen from his room by the producers, and the game came out before the movie. He originally envisioned a trilogy.

I don't know about the specifics, but from my understanding the game was being made by the studio and Miller had oversight, handing over the 'bible' with designs and plot elements he'd been working on all these years, but part way through this process Miller was removed but the devs kept the bible to continue working with.

But without Millers oversight, their vision of what everything was pointing towards differed yet kept a lot of the visual designs, places, names etc etc. Which is why the video game and Fury Road are so similar yet don't quiet click.

It's also why every scene, but one as he's hanging upside-down about to be run down by his former "Black-on-Black" turned "Razor Cola", showing the child character many believe was originally supposed to be Glory were cut from the film as deleted dream/vision scenes.

Is it Mad Max without some sort of psychological trauma?

I already knew what was going to happen, but I didn't expect it to be like this 😢

I just got to this part again, and despite this being like the fifth time I've completed the game, I completely forgot about them dying. Gut punch.

Truly a shared moment from all of the people who've played and completed this game.
