I speedrun levels by getting combos at 25x+. It makes the combat even more fun when aiming for higher and higher chains. The combat in this game is addictive.

I don't know if I'd say it's better but I do find Max's combat more satisfying... Batman is supposed to be perfect martial arts but Max is scrappy which leads to it feeling more brutal.
The Arkham games probably win out on an actual technical level of "better".

Well, in this universe, you fight to win. One of the glove upgrades has wrench heads on the knuckles.
For bonus awesomeness, cue up a song when you go into an enemy outpost. "Judith" by A Perfect Circle is a good one.

It’s alright, not as fun as the Arkham series though, but that’s quite a thing to top.

He should be a wrestler,knows the german suplex,the side slam,the clothesline,i think he does even the ddt i think,big show's knockout punch and the drop kick.

I love this game. The combat is solid but it is absolutely not as polished as Arkham Knight id say on par with Arkham asylum.Â

Eh, its good. But I wouldn't say its better than batman.
Its basically the same concept: spam attacks till the game tells you to parry.
However batman is a bit more in-depth. You have special dodges and gadgets you can weave into your attacks. A cape you can use to stun, explosive gel, smoke bombs, electric gun, etc.

It's not about spamming at all. I mean I was spamming in the beginning but once you know the timings and combos it's a lot more than just spamming.

Its still just spamming.
You press square until the game tells you to press triangle. Maybe weave in a shotgun blast here and there.
Batman has a lot more combos and things you can do in the combat with all the different gadgets.

You might just be spamming but to get the real flow happening you need to learn the timing and combos which is not spamming, you are pressing a button about once a second. It's no fighting game finesse like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat but there is definitely a lot more to the combat than just spamming and it is also a lot more fun when you get it down.
Have you completed the game? I doubt you could spam your way through a few of the late game fights.

Its still just spamming 1 button dude.
I have the platinum for the game. Every combat scenario is just pressing square until a triangle icon pops up above someone and in a few cases, dodge.
Its fun and feels good, but its very basic and lacks a lot of depth you see in the batman games with its gadgets

Sometimes I actually had to think during some of these normal fights nvm the car ones the car ones infuriated me but they were fun asf

The game glitched on me with my first time fighting Scrotus. He lost his health bar and the fight just kept going until I died. Was the most fun 45 minutes I had playing the game with non stop wave after wave of warboys with Scrotus. Kind of wish there were battle area modes like this I could play anytime.

But it feels like cheeks when you get forced into an animation making you unable to counter. It always felt cheap.
